Review: On April 21st we signed a contract for laying a brick patio in my backyard for $1300. During the next week they kept promising start working next day every day and failed to do so several times. They showed up twice - Monday and Thursday for a short time and did a little work (brought crushed stone, $150 with labor according to their own verbal estimate). On Friday they phoned and said they will not complete the project for a sighed sum. I asked how much they want and they said $2000. I agreed and they promised to continue next day. Next day they did not show up. I called and was told they are not able to complete the job at all. They apologized and promised to mail a letter with contract cancellation and to refund full $500 deposit on Friday, May 3rd. I have not received any letter and have not heard from them since. Please help me to get back my money. Thank you.Desired Settlement: The company must give me back my deposit.
