Review: The company charge 324.00 dollar for towing my car and storage for less than 24hr charging for labor and insurance that was not explain.

And they were extortion me that if I leave my car in their bodyshop to be fix the will give me a discount on the "labor" that they weren't supposed to charge me in the beginningDesired Settlement: Get my 150 dollar for labor that they charging that it is just rip off to take advantage of clients desperation

Review: My vehicle broke down in front of my home. I called AAA on 6/**/14 and they sent a driver on Thursday 6/**/14 to tow my vehicle to Brooklyn. The driver instructed me that he was the manager of a shop in Jamaica Queens and that he will diagnose my problem free of charge. He also informed me that I would not be required to repair the vehicle with him. Later that afternoon, he called me back and told me that I need to reprogram the ignition switch and told me the price. I told him that I dont believe that was the problem and I was not sure if I wanted to do the repair. He said he was going to take my vehicle off the lift because he was busy and needed the space. I was under the impression that he was going to park my car on the street because he didnt tell me otherwise. He called me this morning 6/**/14 and told me that I either pay the storage fee or the cost of diagnosing what he believes is the problem. I told him that I was not going to pay either one because I was told I would not have to. I told him he never informed me that the vehicle was going to be parked in his lot and that there would be a storage fee.Desired Settlement: I would like to retrieve my vehicle free of charge.

The business held my vehicle and the property within my vehicle, which by the way is illegal. I was forced to call the police in order to retrieve my property. The police officers were very helpful and they informed me that I would have to hire a lawyer and take it to trial if I wanted to get my vehicle. They said the process would be very expensive and since they are storing my vehicle I could still be responsible for the storage fee. They informed me that this happens on a regular basis and I souls just pay the diagnostic fee and call it a lesson learned.
