Review: I called with question about the interest that they are charging my account, because the interest amount is going up considerably although my account balance is going down. When I made my initial call I was given two different reason as to why this was happening both of which were not even possible and was then told that I would have to speak with the person who does their billing, but she wouldn't return my call as I was told when I called back she doesn't have time. Then was told that this is because I have an old account. Doesn't seem ok to be charging me more and more while I continue to pay on time in a timely manner I do know that I should have interest but I know it shouldn't fluctuate, in fact I pay before I even get the bill and sometime they don't even send a bill and I still pay. I am sure if this is happening to my account that it is happening to others and they will not try to explain it to me or even return my phone call.

We had informed the patient that we do not accept payment plans but went along with her $50.00 per month. She has not had a zero balance here since November 10, 2010.

The patient was previously dismissed from our office because of her inappropriate and aggressive behavior toward staff members in our office.

The patient was informed that our office applies one per cent interest on each charge to account, after a grace period of 90 days. Therefore, each time the patient had more work done, even though she was paying $50.00 per month on her old balance, after 90 days from the most recent date of service, interest was then applied to that amount also.

It was necessary to contact both our software company and our accountant to get answers as to exactly how our interest system works. This complaint to the Revdex.com was made before we were able to contact the patient again.

Our office emphasizes excellent treatment of all our patients and we are sorry that we were not able to develop a good working relationship with this patient.

We will contact the patient and present the option to have all past interest charges removed if she will pay the balance in full, otherwise the computer will continue to automatically apply interest to the balance as described above.
