After talking with the homeowner about the condition of the skylight he did not want to replace the skylights at the time the new roof was being installedHe was informed that the skylights would need to be replaced in the near futureThe step flashing can only be install one way and the counter
flashing is locked over the step flashingIf the skylights are leaking it is due to a skylight failure and not due to an improper shingle installAs far as the chimney flashing issue, the existing was re-used and sealed and not totally replacedThe existing was in good shape and was sealed as neededDue to expansion and contraction of the seasons and adding more attic ventilation it is possible that something had pulled loose and it is the responsibility of the homeowner as far as yearly home maintenance to look for issues like this and not my responsibility to do soI was asked to install gutter guards and not gutters on the house
