Review: I went to [redacted] for my five year old sons glasses.I have had nothing but problems with them since April 2013.I recently went into them to use my warranty that I has paid in full for a new frame due to his snapping in half. They told me that same day he would have them in three to four days. that was on a Monday.I called four days later on a Friday and they told me they ordered them on Wednesday and I would not have them for another three to four days.this whole time waiting my son was without glasses and they really could have cared less.I called three days later and they had no clue where the brand new glasses were.they told me that I could come in get a temporary pair since he has been without glasses for ten days. finally the glasses come in I go to pick them up and they are the original ones I brought in and they were sottered back together right by the arm right next to the eye.they told me that if the company can fix the glasses that's what they do.I informed them I paid for warranty which entails replacing broken frames with brand new ones.they tried to give me the run around but I refused to take them and let them know this is not what I paid warranty for. They said they would call company and see what they would do for me. The company gave me a credit for $112.00and a another credit for $75.00 which my insurance covered to pick out a new frame.I was satisfied with this so I went ahead picked out a new frame and they had the audacity to tell me I had to pay for the lenses $145.00.I was flabbergasted by this.I said to them this makes no sense and I feel like you are trying to rip me off.I said if my warranty was fulfilled correctly how it should of been I would of had to pay nothing.I informed them I was calling the Revdex.com and they quickly agreed to pay for the lenses to be filled.I went to pick up the new glasses today and they refused to give me them wiothout the old ones they said they are going to get credit for them through my insuranece.Desired Settlement: I always heard they were overpriced and looking to get money from customers I did not want to believe it but it is true. Now they are going to try to get money from my insurance company which they have no right to do. I paid them for the warranty for the glasses not the company or my insurance. They are skeeming the system and feel it is not fair and would like them reprimanded for these actions.

To: [redacted], [redacted]

In regards to complaint Id # [redacted] the orignial job was purchased on 4/**/2013. The orignial job included a frame and polycarbonate lenses with antiglare coating, and a $25 warranty for a total of $267. The warranty is a ONE time replacement on the lenses and a ONE time replacement on the Frame. The warranty does not cover lost or stolen. we have to return the damaged frame to the manufactor and they will replace it. The patient was a 5 year old child that abused his glasses. The mother brought the glasses in 5/**/2013 to replace the lenses under the warranty less than one month after the purchase. Using the One time replacement on the lenses in May she has exhausted the warranty on the lenses. On December **2013 the mother brought us her son glasses broken expecting the warranty to cover both the frame and the lenses. She was furious when we explained to her she had exhausted the warranty on the lenses and it would only cover the frame. Unfortunatley the orignal fra me that was purchased was discontinued , so we offered the mother to choose a brand new frame at equal value of choice. The mother choose a frame but was demanding new lenses at no charge. [redacted] is very big on customer service so we agreeded to replace the lenses at no charge as a one time courtsey. The mother was very unappreciative. Upon pickup the patient did not want to return the broken glasses which is the warranty policy. In the mothers complaint she claims we are charging her insurance. There is ABOSULTELY NO INSURANCE company invovled in this. We are not billing any insurance company, we needed the broken frame and lenses back to return them to the manufactor which is the policy of the $25 warranty which she purchased.

Sincerely,
