Review: Our washer/dryer broke so we called J&S after someone recommended them. They told us that our door lock was broken and said they would order the part to fix it. We gave them a deposit which they said would go towards to final payment if we decided to use them. When the part came in, they came to fix it (after at least one appointment where no one showed up) and realized another part was broken. This part, they said is on backorder and may take a while to come. Every time I would call to check on the status of our order I was told that it was 'due to come in this week' or it was 'delivered to the warehouse but not unpacked yet'. These were all lies. they eventually emailed us to ask us to order the part from [redacted], which we did (at our expense) and it was delivered in a few weeks. When I informed them that our part was delivered, they were very eager to come and fix the machine. I called three times during the week to confirm our appointment. My husband stayed home from work on the day the were due to come and no one showed up. When I called to find out what was going on, as soon as I said my address, THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I continued to call back for an hour with no answer. I also sent an email the same day with no answer.

This is the worst, most unprofessional service I have ever encountered. I can't believe they are still in business.Desired Settlement: I want our deposit refunded.

Review: We first contacted this company on April [redacted] to repair a dryer. After many no shows they finally showed up in the evening of April [redacted] and put in a new belt but the dryer made very loud noise. They demanded payment and promised to come back and fix the noise issue the next day. However, he failed to show up after a few more appointment cancellations/no shows. We told J&S that we would stop the check payment until the dryer was fixed. The technician finally called back and said he needed to order a new roller (cost around $20) to fix the noise issue and agreed not to cash the check until the job is done. They finally came to repair the dryer on May [redacted] and we paid them (about $480). The next day the dryer stopped working again! We called them a few times (because they kept missing appointments) and they said that we needed to repair the power button. Although we had doubts that this issue wasn't correlated to the first one, we agreed to send a check of $128 but they never showed up to replace it. After this last no show I asked them to refund the $128. It's now been more than 2 weeks and I have requested them many times to refund that money since they never did the job but I'm still waiting...Desired Settlement: I request a full refund for this inadequate service. It is appalling that after 2 weeks I am still waiting to get the refund for the service never performed. I called an other repair company, they came the same day and they were able to identify the real issue which wasn't even the power button! So J&S would have made me spend another $128 for nothing and then they would have said I needed to buy some other part!

Review: they quoted me on an oven repair and cashed the check and never came to fix it I have to take them to civil court to get my money back now because the will not issue a refund ,

Review: I called this company who advertised as a Dacor repair. I asked and they verified they were authorized repair.They came as my burners were not lighting.The technician tried, never inspected and said I needed a new part and charged approx $150.He said they would call the next day with an estimate and the $150 would be used toward the next visit.They never called, I finally tracked them down and they said they could not find the part.I made one call and found the part, and arranged to have them come back.They did not show up as promised ( claimed they called)We rescheduled and they still did not show but tried to reschedule .I called another company and the valves needed cleaning and nothing was replaced.I have written and called for a refund to no availDesired Settlement: I would like my money back
