Jan Lynn it's a bully, claiming to have a patent on her Cattail Wind Chimes. She is delusional and arrogant. There is no patent, no grant from the Ford Foundation, and no grounds for threatening lawsuits . She needs to stop bullying people and grow up. Her Cattail's are overpriced and nothing special. Be an adult Ms. Lynn and leave people alone!

Review: My daughter purchased a set of wind chimes for me as a birthday gift. The stems on the cattails broke so I contacted [redacted] via telephone. She stated "the wind chimes are warrantied for life, that is the life of the artist". I told her I would return the wind chimes and she stated that I also needed to send a check for $9 for her to send me a new set of wind chimes. On Mon 2/25/2013 I let her know (via email) I was sending the wind chimes and needed to know what address to send them to. She replied with the address for return. On March 22, 2013 I sent her and email to make sure she received them. This is the email response from [redacted].

I got them but this is a very busy time for me at Flower and garden shows and I have been selling out.. can't make them fast enough !!! :)

I will send you a set soon :)

Inn April, 2013 I contacted her again....via email. This is the email response I received from [redacted].

I will send your chimes when the demand for them ...via paying customers , slows down a bit..At this point I am swamped with Mother's day orders and an Art show every weekend .

I replace them as a kindness, I lose money doing this ..as real copper and bronze is expensive....and Your threat of going to the Revdex.com is quite a shock !

I hope you realize that this offer to replace is no where in writing..... or time limited ,you say your daughter bought them .

Please understand I WILL get them out but I am in business and current paying customers come first.

Yes..you sent them in WINTER...... I do the [redacted] flower& Garden Show,[redacted] Garden and , [redacted] , [redacted] as well.....and Navy Pier ! all in [redacted]uary, Feb and March !

This has been and is my busy time. I will be glad to send your parts back..since you can't wait for new ones.

You say when you return something, you must e thinking of a Huge Corp. business. Not a lone artisan...I am not [redacted].

I wanted to help you out of kindness.....guess feel kindness is worthless.

I have since called her, emailed her and messaged her on [redacted] and she has not replied or responded to any of my messages. I have asked her to send me a new set of wind chimes OR return my old set........and my old set was still in tact........just had broken stems which made them significantly shorter than they were originally. I haven't received a new set and I haven't received my broken set back. I am not happy with this at all as they were a gift and a pretty expensive gift at that. Her response to me on Facebook ONE time was:

[redacted]..You are getting a FREE set ..to replace the one that was somehow broken! I will send it when I am not so swamped with customer that are buying new sets

Her customer service is unacceptable and I may not be a NEW customer, but my daughter was a NEW customer at one time and if a company agrees to replace a product it should be done within a timely manner.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I believe [redacted] should replace this product as she agreed to. She is the one that said she would replace the set, whether it is out of kindness or what they should be replaced. If she is NOT willing to replace, then she should have returned my original set to me in the same condition that I sent it to her in. AND not charge me $9 for shipment to me. This has gone on way too long so at this point I would want a replacement for sure. She has had my set since February and I have not been able to enjoy the gift from my daughter since!

Review: IN JULY 2014 I ORDERED AND PAID FOR TWO COPPER CAT TAIL WIND CHIMES TO BE DELIVERED TO TWO SISTERS. I ALSO PAID FOR SHIPPING. THE PRODUCT WAS NEVER SENT NOR RECIEVED. I CONTACT JAN LYNN NUMEROUS TIMES AND SHE EVENTUALLY SAID SHE WOULD SEND PRODUCT OR WOULD I PREFER REFUND. TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECIEVED REFUND NOR THE PRODUCT. THIS PERSON IS NOT AN HONEST BUSINESS PERSON, SHE IS A SCAM! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HER!Desired Settlement: REFUND OF $82.50, THE EXACT AMOUNT I PAID HER

Review: On April 24, 2015 I placed an order with Jan Lynn-Artist by Nature. I was travelling to Georgia the following week and this was a gift for the person I would be seeing. She assured me that the order would be there the following week as they ship priority mail. It never arrived and still has not arrived and it is June 1. I contacted her and she said she would track the delivery. She called me back the next day and said it was delivered to the wrong post office and that she would send out a new one. It never arrived. I have called numerous times and she does not answer and it goes to her mail box which is full so you can't even leave a message. I have also sent numerous email but I get no answer back. They are not returned so I know they are going somewhere. I have asked that if it is the wrong person on the receiving end that they reply. My credit card has been charged for this item but I have no way to contact her to resolve this issue because she does not answer.Desired Settlement: I would be happy if she would just get the item to the person that it was supposed to go to. It was a gift. If that is not going to happen then I expect my credit card to be credited for the $51.00 that she has of mine.

Review: I ordered a product from this lady and I never received it. I tried to contact her but she doesn't respond. As of today, I tried to reach her 3 times since the transaction took place. She took the money out of my credit account. This all started May 16 and she said I would receive the product my May 26 th. So far no response from this person. Please help!!!Desired Settlement: I wish to receive my product with an apology!!!! This was spose to be a birthday present therefore I had to go with something else, just because this person totally ignored me.

Review: Business had a booth at the Stone Lake (Wi) Cranberry Fest. It had been there other years, so I believed [redacted] when she said she was out of the copper wind chimes, was making more, and would provide free shipping. I bought a set for my sister in Ca. My credit card was electronically charged at that time by FirstData credit card processing, and a receipt for payment emailed to me. Three weeks later, my sister had not received the wind chimes. She tried to call, and reached a full voice mail box. I sent an email requesting either expedited shipping, or a refund immediately. I have had no response.

I will also report this problem to the Cranberry Fest committee.Desired Settlement: I think the business has a responsibility to carry through on promised delivery, issue the refund when that isn't possible, respond to inquiries.

Review: On March 23, 2013 I ordered a set of cattail windchimes from [redacted] at a Home & Garden Show at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, IL. She had run out of her supply and said I would receive them in about a week. I never received them. I did call her on March 30th with no response. I contacted her by email three different times (she gave me the email address) and received one response that she had run out of shipping boxes and it would be shipped the week of April 15th. I did not receive the product. I finally sent a letter in June stating that I had not received the product and expressed my desire to have the product but if that was not possible I wanted a refund on the payment I had made by check that had been cashed by her.

I finally called the Expo Center asking for the contact person for the Home & Garden Show and they gave me your information and told me that she had done this to many other consumers also.Desired Settlement: I would ideally like to have the product as I did like it. However, if that is not possible then I would like a refund of the $41.90 that I paid in good faith for the product.

Customer received one set of chines via USPS priority mail.

Review: After e-mail correspondence with Jan [redacted] about the purchase of her copper cattail wind chimes, I was directed by Jan on April 13, 2015 to mail her a $45 check made out to Jan [redacted] & mail the check to Jan [redacted]. Jan told me that she holds the patent on the 3 ft. chimes, and that she cuts every long copper leaf for every set & that it's totally her own design. I had seen someone else's who purchased this from Jan [redacted] at a Madison Art Fair & I liked it very much. This is how I got Jan's contact info. I mailed Jan my check the next day. My check was cashed on April 20, 2015. I have yet to receive the product that I purchased, and Jan [redacted] has never answered any of my e-mails, text messages, or phone messages.Desired Settlement: I either want her to mail me the garden copper cattail wind chimes by July 1, 2015, or refund my money.

I ordered some cattail windchimes paid for them she cashed my check and never delivered the windhimes.

Review: My son purchased wind-chime from [redacted] Lynn at a craft fair in Fargo North Dakota on July 20,2013 . The item was to be shipped to me in Omaha Ne. After sending three emails to [redacted] and never hearing back from her I had my daughter send her an email asking to purchase some wind chimes from her at the Omaha craft show she responded right back saying she will be in Omaha in November and she would sell me some there. I went to the craft show in Omaha and talked to the people that run the craft show and they said they know [redacted] very well. They informed my that [redacted] wasn't at the craft show. After I googled her name it seems like she has a problem with delivering her product. Can you help with this?Desired Settlement: Either ship my item or I would like my son to be refunded.

Review: We place and order and paid for wind chimes at the 2015 mother's day craft show in Marquette MI. We have not heard anything from her.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund and to see that she is no longer recognized for the wind chimes. I know and other party that ordered about $700 worth and the last I talked to them they are also without.

This is an metal artist that wanted to buy my chimes to resell. When I refused..he began sending hate mail and harassed me via website slander.
DISGRUNTLED ARTIST !
I do not owe another artist 700.00 !
