The company is very small and we felt good about purchasing our camper from them, I did a lot of research ahead of time and we were very organized and ready to purchase. Once the camper was on order, the customer service has been horrible. Our camper was supossed to be here with in 6-8 weeks "maximum" per our salesman. There has been no communication from them despite several messages to them. We even went as far as calling the manufacturer to see if there was even an order placed for our camper. We are now in week 8 with no camper, we are told the off line date is now out an another month...the reason we bought our camper so early is to avoid getting our camper in june. we are frustrated and unfortunalty will go with another dealer since I feel they do not want to work with us or that our business is of value to them. We have asked several questions and have no answers. Its too bad that they are one of few that sell the brand of camper we love, but their not the only ones-we will be moving on.

[redacted], [redacted] was in yesterday and picked up his trailer. I have since looked into the titling and am waiting response back. But all is ok. Just so you know, he never left any messages or stopped until yesterday. Someone has been at the dealership almost daily even though we are closed until the first of February. Thanks,

Review: on 6 June 2014 our entire family went to Janesville RV to pick up our brand new camper. our salesmen ** said that it was a month late due to the manufacturer being behind in production. to our disbelief it did not have the electric stabilizer jacks or the bug screens we were supposed to get. ** wrote on our sales slip that the electric stabilizers would be ordered and installed free of charge. being ensured the jacks would be ordered and installed we drove an hour and a half home. the bug screens were mailed to us and are the wrong ones. Glen claims they have the right ones for us now. after a week I called ** to check on the status of our jacks and started getting stories. he must have handed this off to his son [redacted] because that is who I talked with on the phone every week until today 22 Sept 2014. today [redacted] told me the jacks are at forest river Indiana and forest river did not send them out last week like they were supposed to. I emailed Steve at forest river and he said the jacks were not ordered until 2 Sept 2014 and came in 15 Sept 2014. Steve also said he wont ship them until Janesville RV pays him. this confirms or belief that [redacted] lied to us all summer about getting our jacks. we still need bug screens installed for free, torn slide out seal replaced, humming noise fixed, corner molding fixed, and jacks installed which [redacted] said they would do when everything is in.Desired Settlement: install jacks and fix other issues listed above

Unfortunately for Mr. [redacted] we were not able to purchase anything from [redacted] until our account was cleared up with them. I explained this to him several weeks ago. At no time did anyone ever say we wouldn’t stand behind what was said. I have talked to him today and set him up for an appointment to have everything done that he is waiting on. He has an appointment with us on either the 29th or 30th of September. So all will be resolved in a week.

Review: We purchased a 2014 Forest River Cedar Creek CKTS from Janesville RV on February 2, 2014 at the Madison RV show. We purchased manufacturer installed slide toppers and is stated so on our contract. When we arranged to pick up our trailer on March 1, 2014, they had installed the incorrect, cheaper and inferior slide toppers. They promised and stated the correct ones would be ordered and installed. We placed numerous phone calls and emails to rectify this mistake. Finally Labor Day weekend, they told us they ordered the correct slides and to bring the trailer to Janesville for installation. This is the second time they told us this. Because they installed the incorrect ones to begin with, incorrect holes were now drilled into the side of our camper. They did not order news ones, they retro-fitted parts to make it appear they were new. We have before and after pictures to prove they did not put new ones on. Also the slides rub and is creating marks on the slide out and we cannot put out the 12 foot awning without it rubbing. This has now affected the value of our trailer and the correct ones installed will need body work to cover holes on the inferior toppers. This is a 85k retail trailer. Please help.

We took the trailer to [redacted], they agreed it was a very poor job. They gave us an estimate of 2500$ not including any body work they may encounter once the toppers are removed. This could cost another 2000-2500$.Desired Settlement: We want to take our fifth wheel to another dealer, as we do not want them touching it again, and we want Janesville RV to pay for the repairs to be done correctly to preserve our investment. Or we want a replacement trailer of equal value.

The slide-toppers that were installed are Dometic brand. This is the same brand the manufacture uses and the ones that Janesville RV installed are the newest version. The reason the slide-toppers were not installed at the factory is the customer had a time constraint of when they wanted the trailer delivered. Janesville RV has purchased and installed two complete sets of slide-toppers for this unit. The first set on Dometic order # [redacted] and the second set on Dometic # [redacted]. These slide-toppers are specific and cannot be mismatched. You cannot upgrade them. You cannot swap parts on them. They are special order and not returnable to Dometic. A call to Dometic will confirm that. They purchased a trailer that was to have metal wrap slide-toppers installed. They have a trailer with metal wrap slide-toppers installed. The correct brand albeit the newest version. Janesville RV had already communicated with the customer that we would adjust the awning so it would not rub the slide-topper if they wanted to drop by on their way camping. Janesville RV will not absorb any more cost associated with slide-toppers for this unit.

Review: In March of 2014 we ordered a trailer with Janesville RV. We were promised the trailer the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend but it never came. [redacted] called us on May 29th, 2014 and told us to come in and sign the loan papers that he would be going to get our trailer that week. That week came and he told us the windows for the trailer were on back order. Every week in the month of June he told us this. 4th of July came and went and still no trailer. My wife called [redacted] to find out what was going on and [redacted] told her the trailer had been done since June 1st. We confronted [redacted] about this and he told us he spent the money elsewhere that we gave him. We are currently sitting with two trailer loans in our name because he did not pay off our trade in and they have the title for it. Janesville RV has ruined our summer and have lied to and committed fraud by having us sign loan papers without a trailer and not getting us the trailer or pay off the existing trailer.Desired Settlement: We would like Janesville RV to be responsible for this loan or pay it off. We do not have the trailer in our possession and they took our money back on May 29th, 2014.
