Nov13, 2015The client filing the above referenced complaint paid for and received laser hair removal services from the business by the name of [redacted] and/or [redacted] for the business [redacted] , not Janine ABlackman, MD, PA If the client will review her credit card receipts, she will see that her payments went to [redacted] During the time period in which this client is reporting she received laser services, [redacted] sub-letted office space in the medical suite leased by Janine ABlackman, MD, PA at the Bethesda location Effective August 31, 2015, the sub-lease arrangement ended and the laser equipment owned by [redacted] was removed and taken to one of [redacted] other locations in Clarksville, MDWe have no records of any payment from this client to Janine ABlackman, MD PAThe letter we received from the Revdex.com dated November 5, (and received on Nov10, 2015) is the first communication we have received from this client about this matter The Revdex.com letter states the client "talked to the company" on July 9, We have no record of any communication of any complaints from this client in July or anytime since then Janine ABlackman, MD, PA is not my solo physical practice I would expect to be aware of the situation if she did indeed contact us for a refund For most of the time the client was receiving laser services in the Bethesda location, all of the laser appointments were booked through ***'s appointment service located in Howard County, so perhaps she contacted ***'s office instead of mineEffective September 1, 2015, after the sub-lease agreement ended and [redacted] removed her laser equipment from the Bethesda office, Janine ABlackman, MD, PA installed new laser equipment and began offering similar services We honored all treatment packages that had been pre-paid to ***'s in order to make the transition seamless to all clients who wanted to continue services in the Bethesda location, despite not being paid for the services we were providing To our knowledge, this client has never called to make an appointment to finish her treatment package, or to request a refund Had she called to request a partial refund, I would have reminded her that her payment went to ***'s [redacted] , so that is where she needs to make her requestRegarding her outlined complaints: Her first complaint about not getting any results from the service needs to be directed to the provider of the service, namely [redacted] However, it seem strange for a person to continue to purchase treatment packages over a two-year period if they were not seeing any positive results Why did she continue to purchase multiple treatment package over a two-year period if she wasn't getting positive results? She reports having unused laser treatments remaining from a treatment package she purchased from [redacted] in March, As I explained above, since September 1st, we have been providing laser treatments with new laser equipment to clients who wanted to finish their treatments in Bethesda rather than change to ***'s Clarksville location And we would do the same for this client If the client is no longer interested in laser hair removal, but would like to try to use her unused treatment sessions in some other way, she is welcome to schedule a free consultation with one of my laser-certified nurses to see if she would like to try some other service of comparable value The laser services at Janine ABlackman, MD, PA that began on September 1, are using new equipment and are more extensive than what was offered by [redacted] , and facial rejuvenation, pigment removal, tattoo removal, and more Sincerely Yours, Janine Blackman

Review: Dr. Janice Blackman 1) denied that an unwanted service was charged after politely inquiring at the end of the appointment2) placed extra charges on my credit card without permission the next morning. 3) then reneged on planned services but still charged a start fee, communicated she was "insulted" extra $795 charge was questioned. I did not want to cancel services. She abruptly backed out, in less than 24 hours, cancelled my appointments, but still felt I should be charged. My credit card was charged a total of $1,780 for contracted services arbitrarily devalued and cancelled by her.Desired Settlement: A full refund.
