Similarly to the review, my daughter's car was towed, and we believe illegally as there was no clear marking in the area she parked(She did not knock the sign down as they accused her of.) Like the previous reviewer, the car is not in her nameIn fact, it's in the name of a family friend from whom we are purchasing itThey don't have the title until December, so we won't get it until then
The first phone call said we just needed an email with a picture id and permissionNow, in Arizona, it is a felony for a company to refuse to a release a car towed from private property if the person can't payBeing a college student, paying it would have caused extreme hardship, plus she plans to fight it, so she cited the lien law when picking up the carThe owner told her the registered owner of the car had to be present and then drove off, leaving her and her roommate standing thereBecause this violated the law, I instructed my daughter to call the policeA fax and signature later, she left the lot with her car
We will be taking them to small claims court to eliminate the illegal towing charge

On 10/31/we towed a Mazda Bfrom an apartment complex in Flagstaff. The complex contracts with us to remove any unauthorized vehicles and vehicles without valid parking permits. Mr*** came in requesting to go billing on a
$tow fee. The break down of the charges are as follows, $Flat Tow Rate, $Special Equipment if applicable (which in this situation it was) and $a day for storage. We run our storage in hour increments starting from when the vehicle is towed. So from time of tow they have until before the next day at whatever time the vehicle was towed to pick it up before it accrues another day of storage. Mr***'s father had sent in a check for $dollars and said that's all he was going to pay. I explained that the tow bill was $and he would still have a balance of $70.00. He said he wouldn't pay it I told him that if it wasn't taken care of that it would be forwarded to collections. After attempting to make Contact with *** I forwarded it on to collections. I spoke with *** yesterday 2/16/and he paid the remaining balance of $and was taken out of collections. *** account is paid in full and no longer needs any action of collections efforts or payment arrangements. If there are any more questions or concerns feel free to reach me at ***

My son had his car towed by this company, because the car was not registered to him getting it back has been a nightmare. I have sent a picture of my drivers license, a copy of the license plate and a letter asking them to release the vehicle. Jordan said as long as I pay all the "extra" fees he would release it. As the car was towed from private property I asked Jordan for a letter from the owner of the property giving him permission to tow cars, he informed me that I could come in and pick it up (knowing I live many hours away) but he would not give it to my son who was standing in front of him.
