Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Please be advised that I am the one who spoke to the customer. She never called my office to complain. The first time that I heard of any problem was when I received a letter from the the Revdex.com of Delaware. When I called her to ask her why she filed the complaint, she stated that she would only withdraw the complaint if I refunded the amount of $215.45. I refused to refund this amount because the customer was advised of the prices in advance before the door was opened. The door was opened and two (2) locks were replaced as evidenced by the invoice which the customer signed in two places indicating that she agreed to the price and that she was satisfied with the service. As Customer stated in her complaint, she was told $250 for the locks to be opened and she was only charged $250 for the two locks to be opened and then $45 for each lock to be replaced and $70 labor. No refund is due.
If the customer did not want the service or agree to the price, she could have declined the service before it was rendered. Hopefully, this answer will finally resolve this matter.
.If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Also be advised that Jaymer Communications Corp. does not have a telephone listing in that area. The customer went to a gas station and the attendant in the station called our toll free number, l 800 Locksmith on the customer's behalf.  The locksmith arrived at the location in 45 minutes.

Review: On 1/6/14 my son called to tell me that the lock on the door of my Lodi, NJ warehouse was broken. From FLA I found a site called [redacted] covering Lodi, NJ. The site posted a cost of $35 for a lock repair &/or replacement.I called from FLA, and a girl said she'd send someone over immediately to either repair or replace the lock on the door. When the person she sent came he told my son that he had two locks he could use to replace the broken existing lock, as the existing lock couldn't be repaired. However,he said his less expensive lock could not fit properly, but he'd charge the same for the a better new lock but said it came with only one specialized key. If we wanted any more keys for that lock he'd have to charge us more. He also stated that this special lock did not sit well in the housing, but for an additional $300.00 to $400.00 he could weld the lock to the metal door. My son declined. My son than got a handwritten indecipherable bill for $316.00. The bill came from a company called Jaymer Communication Corp. out of Dover, DE & a telephone [redacted] I called that number to get someone to explain the indecipherable bill, & tell us why we were paying $316.00 when the site said $35.00 to replace a lock, & why their man used a used lock with only one key for the lock. When I called other lock companies they all said a new replacement lock comes with 2 keys, no matter how specialize the lock. That we were given a used lock from the start. I had to go out & get an additional specialized key for $32.10. Jaymer overcharged, lied & used a used lock when they were suppose to use a new lock with 2 keys. [redacted] asked for proof of the bill for the additional key before he'd repay us. We FAX'd over proof, & did many follow-ups by FAX but never a reply nor my money. Neither Jaymer Communication Corp. nor [redacted] should be allowed to do business in NJ, because of their deceptive practices.Desired Settlement: Pay my bill in full.

Review: I called Jaymer to repair a lock on the front door to my office. After the initial repair, the lock did not function properly in such a way that each time the door handle was used, the locking mechanism gradually engaged and the door self locked. When they retuned to fix the problem, the technician installed a new lock, but now over drilled the door and after install of the new lock you could see outside. They came back a week later and put a plate on the door to cover the hole. The door was ruined. Following this install, upon arrival to my office one day I could open the door. After entering the office through another door, I had to pry the front door opened. I then called another locksmith and he needed to miter the deadbolt and strike plate so that they would not cause the door to bind. I paid again. I then called Jaymer and they refused to refund me my original payment to them for the faulty lock and negligent installation.Desired Settlement: 368.08

Review: On March 28th I had a new side door lock installed by a technician from 1800 Locksmith. I have no complaints about the initial installation however, the lock has recently begun to stick. It is very hard to turn the key and my son got locked out and was unable to open the door. I called the company to explain the situation and was told that since their 90 day warranty has expired, there is nothing they can or will do. My last door lock remained in good working order for at least 10 years and I would think that a new lock that cost $267.50 would last a little longer than 7 months.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a new lock installed.

Review: I moved to my new address back in July and called them to have my locks changed. I was quoted a price of between 40-80 for the service. When the locks were re-keyed I was handed a bill for 219.35! I was astonished. I asked why and he told me because of the re-keying. I told him I was not quoted that when I called so I was completely mis-lead. I felt I had to pay it because service was done and would take it up w/the company. I called the company 2x's and they never returned my calls. I disputed the charge with my credit card company but they couldn't help because I signed a bill of sale.

Since then I have read many complaints about this company online and will tell EVERYONE I know that they are a scam and would never recommend them to ANYONE. Being new to the area I looked them up online so it's partly my fault I didn't do more research but when you are quoted one price initially and nothing was stated like the final charge I was presented BEFORE the work was done that wasn't right. I feel half that amount would of been fair so I was looking for a credit of around 90.00 which my credit card company felt I should of been given back but the paperwork won!Desired Settlement: I would like to be credited 90.00 for my service because I was highly overcharged and mislead when I booked my appointment for service.

Review: This company has predatory pricing, taking advantage of elderly clients who are at their mercy. I was locked out of my home on Saturday, May 3rd at 7pm - the company Jaymer Communication Corp. - advertised as a local company in [redacted] but took 3 hours to arrive to assist me. He tried to open 5 locks and was unable to open any, he then drilled 2 locks and replaced them and chargeme an exhorbitant amount of money $465. 45!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Want my money back!!!!!

Review: Yesterday, I accidentally locked myself out of my car while spending a day at the beach (with kids!) in Ocean City, NJ, which is about 2 hours from where we live. I called 1-800-Locksmith, and a dispatcher told me that a technician would be at my location in about 30 minutes to unlock my car. Then the technician called me to confirm the location of the parking lot in which my car was parked. He also told me that the charge could be as much as $150-175 if my car had a security system. (My car doesn't have a security system.)

About an hour after I spoke with the dispatcher, the technician arrived. Since there was no security system to disable, the technician was able to unlock my car very easily. He just slid a wire from the top of the car door down to the unlock button on the inside of the car door, and pressed it. THIS TOOK HIM LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.

He then told me that my bill would be $190 plus tax. Astonished, I asked him why, since that was even higher than the highest price he'd estimated. He said he was charging $175 and adding an extra "service call" fee of $15. I reminded him that the highest total price he'd estimated was $175. I suppose he realized I wasn't going to let him get away with charging me an additional $15, so he didn't add that to my bill. However, he did charge me $177 plus $12.39 tax and he didn't explain why he charged $177, which was even more than the highest estimate he'd given me before he unlocked my car. (And he'd already told me that his highest estimate--as much as $175--was for cars with security systems because they are more complicated to unlock. Since my car has no security system, that high estimate shouldn't have even applied to my car!)Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded. This guy showed up late and then he charged me even more than the highest price he'd estimated, and his highest estimate was for cars which have security systems. Since my car doesn't have a security system, that estimate shouldn't have even applied to me! I'm glad I at least called him out on the $15 "service call" fee before he added that to my bill. This was a classic "bait and switch." If he'd told me that he charged $175 or more--even for a car with no security system--I would not have hired him.

I called a local locksmith service when my lock broke and I was locked out of my house. When I asked over the phone how much it would cost me, the lady said $29. I thought to myself that was a good deal, and asked they send someone out. The guy arrived, asked to take a look at the door and said it would cost $169 plus the fee for the service call. Just to drill 2 little holes through the lock ! It was a total rip off. This doesn't even include any replacements. When the guy left, I was out of $213 with taxes, and no lock on my door! The invoice he gave me has a DE address, which is about 3 hours away from me. I called the local locksmith. Total rip of!

Review: I was locked out of my vehicle on Sunday 8/16/15. I called what I thought was a local locksmith in town. I was informed this morning (8/18) that they are now mobile and do not have a local fixed business as displayed in the google results when I searched for them. I was quoted $39 + $19 rate to start. The locksmith agent arrived 35 minutes after my call and asked if I owned a smart key and any security features in the door he was about to unlock. I explained no. He proceeded to unlock and told me that the bill would be $165. I believe I have been scammed. They did not set the proper pricinig expectation. I have a 2007 Chrysler T&C there are no security features in my car door yet they charged my a sky high price because he figured I was between a rock and a hard place and had no choice but to pay for this service. I called the company this morning to express my displeasure and told me that this is the correct rate. '[redacted]' supervisor I spoke with at 1.908.533.9202 said that a BMW rate could be $200. How does that compare to what I paid? I paid about 35 dollars less than a foreign car with speciality security in the door. I am so displeased with this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a billing adjustment sent to me for payment to my credit card and a change of their policy for future customers. They should want to be more in service for customers who are locked out and already in dire need.
