Review: When scheduling our pest control treatments, we were told that the second and third treatments would be on October [redacted] and October [redacted]. After preparing our entire home for treatment on October [redacted], we called when they didn't show up and were told that we were only scheduled for October [redacted]. We explained that we're unavailable on that date and that it's not the date we were scheduled for. They said they would not come on October [redacted], or October [redacted] and that they could not schedule us for as long as two weeks from now.Desired Settlement: We want them to fulfill their commitment to treat our apartment for bed bugs by performing regular treatments at regular intervals until the problem is resolved. This is their obligation and we want them to fulfill that obligation and finish the job correctly.

Review: We reported bedbugs several months ago, and at that time had an inspector visit who looked at only one room - and did not treat. Today, our inspector barely looked at two rooms, and spent more time looking at a lady bug on a curtain than at the baseboards or mattresses. WE had to explain to him that it was a lady bug. We're concerned about the quality of service because so far JB has not done what the City of New York says "good companies" will do, especially: - provide a written inspection report, along with an action plan - use vacuum, cleaning, steaming and other mechanical approaches to remove and kill bed bugs - provide regular training to their employees and educational materials to clients - work with you until the problem has been controlled encourage notifying adjacent apartments about the problem and encouraging them to inspect for bed bugs In fact, the inspector spent no more than a few minutes looking around with a flashlight, from a distance, not getting close enough to actually inspect. And specifically discouraged us from notifying adjacent apartments. Inspections of adjacent apartments are vital to preventing the spread of bed bugs, as is fast response and treatment.Desired Settlement: I would like to see knowledgable inspectors, who follow best practices, who conduct real (not token) inspections, and who are prepared to begin treatment as soon as bedbugs are identified. I have contacted the business and requested the following: " exact treatment plan including all details of the IPM approach you will use, the names of pesticides you intend to apply (including any dusts), as well as any additional methods for inspection and monitoring you intend to employ (such as steam, passive or active traps, etc.)." I would like the business to move forward by following all of the best practices and recommendations which are industry standards in their field and to follow the advice of the City of New York regarding treatment strategies and approaches.

Irreverent, unfocused, will not treat except on very specific terms, dismissive, stubborn, suspicious of consumer, and most importantly, ineffective treatment. Over 50 treatments delegated by my landlord and problem is still not eradicated over 4 years.
