I am from Baltimore, MD and JBBM Auto Sales is located in Spotsylvania, VA, that is a 2 hour drive one way. The day I purchased the vehicle, yes I was allowed to test drive it but I WAS NOT offered the option to drive the vehicle back to Baltimore, MD to take it to a mechanic and have it looked at. Also, on 5/4/16, the first time the [redacted] broke down, the engine light came on with a message reading "reduced engine power" and the codes were checked to see exactly what was wrong. There were 2 codes that came up. I called JBBM and spoke with Gina W[redacted] and let her know what it said. She asked me to check around for the cost of parts and labor to get it fixed. I called the [redacted] dealership in Baltimore and they gave me a price of $736.94 plus tax for parts and labor. I called back to JBBM Auto Sales and told Gina W[redacted] the cost and I was told that that was too much and Mr. M[redacted] was not paying that much. I only took the [redacted] to another mechanic because I was told by Gina W[redacted] to find a cheaper mechanic and if I couldn't then Mr. M[redacted] would come the next morning with a mechanic. I need my vehicle for work and because I didn't want to miss work the following day, which I did anyway, I found a mechanic that was willing to do the labor for $175, that is $86.00 less than the Chevy dealership. Mr. M[redacted] still didn't want to pay for the parts but did offer to pay the labor, in which he only paid $43.00 of that. Also, I took the 2003 [redacted] for inspection on 5/12/16 and it failed but I have documentation from JBBM stating that it was inspected in Virginia in March 2016 and passed which leaves me to believe that JBBM Auto Sales had a bogus inspection done on the 2003 Tahoe. I have attached a copy of both inspection documents.Because of the problems with this [redacted] breaking down, I was forced to spend over $1600.00 more in towing fees, rental cars, and parts and labor, in addition to fixing the issues from the failed inspection that JBBM Auto Sales document says it passed.Regards,

Review: On April 30, 2016 I purchased a 2003 [redacted] from JBBM Auto Sales, LLC in Spotsylvania, VA 22551. On May 5, 2016 the [redacted] broke down and I had to get it towed to a repair shop and fixed. The towing fee was $110.00, parts was $211.99 and the labor was $175.00. The owner Luis, agreed to pay the labor costs but instead only paid $43.00. Then on May 8, 2016, the [redacted] broke down again, which resulted in another tow costing me $151.00. I spoke with a gentleman who had purchased the vehicle 9 days before I did and he stated that he returned the [redacted] the same day because it had major problems. When I bought the vehicle I was NOT told of any issues with the vehicle. The [redacted] broke down again on May 10, 2016 and had me stuck on I-95 and had to get towed once again. While sitting on the side of the road I called their office and spoke with Gina W[redacted], the finance manger and informed her that I was sitting on the side of the road and that I will be returning the vehicle and to please have Luis call me to resolve this issue but he never did. I now have to get a rental car which will cost me even more money. I have sent several emails and made phone calls to this business and all of my calls were answered until I stated that I wanted to return the vehicle and cancel the sale. Now when I call, there is no answer. I would like to return the vehicle and cancel the sale and to be reimbursed all of the money I spent because of the problems concerning this [redacted]. That total is estimated to be $992.99.Desired Settlement: Return the vehicle and cancel the sale and reimbursement of funds spent because of the vehicle's issues.
