JD's M.A.D Reviews (3)

Review: I bought a Mother's Day gift from the website called [redacted] for JD's M.A.D, a mobile auto detailing business. My mother called the # to set up an appointment for them to come out to detail her car. The appointment was scheduled for July 25th. On the morning of July 25th they called her to cancel stating that they were afraid it was going to rain. The appointment was rescheduled for the following day (July 26th) at 10 AM. No one ever showed up or called. She called the # that was listed on the [redacted] only to be told that the company had changed their # to ###-###-####. When she called that # she as told to call yet another #, ###-###-####. She called and left a message with no return call ever received. I also called the 1-866 # and left a message without getting a return call.A few hours later called the original # again (###-###-####). A male answered the phone & I told him my situation. He was aware of the scheduled appointment that was for 10AM because he made mention of it. He told me "that the he spoke to the guy who was supposed to do the appointment & he had gotten tied up with something else. He stated that the gentleman had called my mother. This was untrue. My mother nor I EVER received a call back from this business.Upon investigating these different #'s on the internet I have found that they are also using them to advertise a mobile massage business as well. So this may be another scam that the Revdex.com may want to check out. These businesses have FB accounts. The one for the car detailing is JD'S MAD & the one for the massage business is [redacted]. The website for the car detailing has been de-activated but the one they are using for the massage is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the $$$ back that I paid for the service that was never delivered & also would like their businesses investigated if they are indeed scamming people.

Review: I initially purchased a voucher for service for JD's MAD auto service from a site called [redacted]. I attempted to make an appointment after I purchased the voucher for a few weeks personally by phone (which was disconnected) and via a third party appointment app on my cell phone (my time). Eventually the third party app provider was able to make an appointment for April 13th at 10am. However they failed to show up for the appointment and never called to reschedule. Additionally, they redeemed the $89.00 voucher two days before the missed appointment, before they failed to provide their service.Desired Settlement: I am demanding a refund and posting this complaint to warn other consumers about this businesses unethical practices
