The original bench rebuild on Dec. 2014 was $1170.00, but due to the damages found on your trans case, there was an additional cost of $150.80.  After visually inspecting and seeing the damaged case yourself, you agreed to the additional part replacement.  The total cost for the bench...

rebuild was $1320.80. After you installed the trans, you brought it by so we could recheck it. We tightened up a few bolts, topped off the trans  fluid for you and checked shift timing. Around July of 2015, you called us and said the truck stopped moving and it was at the San Angelo State University dormitory.  We had arranged a tow truck to pick it up and bring it back to San Antonio to get it checked out.  We agreed that you would pay for the tow and we would help out with any labor charges since we never charged for any removal or installation originally.  During our inspection, we noticed the trans fluid level was high but in good, clean condition. We disconnected trans cooler line and monitored flow. There wasn't any.   We removed the transfer case and trans to inspect.  We saw the trans oil pump had a broken pump rotor and on each side of the rotor, the inner tabs were damaged.  The torque converter hub had scarring on the top as well.  This is an indication of an installation problem.  The trans oil pump wasn't properly aligned and indexed into the torque converter.  You then told us that you had removed and reinstalled the trans again to try to solve a flywheel or noise problem.  This damage was caused during installation, not by us.  You came down and we showed you the damaged pump components and how it got damaged. We replaced the trans oil pump assly, filter, resealed the trans, replaced the 4x4 gasket,  polished the converter hub,  replaced the trans fluid and tcase fluid.  The total charges for the parts, including, LABOR of only $90.00, was $337.96.  The tow bill was $475.00.  The total invoice was $812.96.  We do recall you bringing the truck back to us to recheck the trans before your son went back to school.  We adjusted the trans detent cable, checked the fluid level and rechecked the trans for leaks.  In Dec. of 2015, you brought the truck in complaining of late shifts.  At that time, all we did was adjust the detent cable in a little. It shifted earlier after that. This last visit, 6 June 2016, you wanted us to check the cable. You said that the cable needed constant adjusting and you had replaced it twice already.  When we tried to adjust it this time, we noticed that in order to attach it to the throttle cam, the cable had to be fully extended past the normal resting point.  Also one of the 2 locks that hold the cable to the housing was broken. We asked you to leave it with us so we can check it out further.  At that time, we did what we could while you waited, but unfortunately we got to the point where we needed to get it on a lift and inspect it further.  We knew we were busy and backlogged prior to your visit so we did ask for some more time with the truck. We got the truck on the lift and tested it several times running it through the gears with different throttle positions.  It shifted through the gears fine until we got it to hang up and not shift at all.  We pulled the governor out and found debris inside causing the valve to stick.  It resembled converter clutch material.  We pulled the transmission out and inspected the complete unit.  We found no other areas where that debris could have originated from.  We notified our parts vendor and had them ship/deliver a torque converter to us.  We reinstalled the unit back into the truck and encountered the same cable issue.  The throttle valve in the trans was being pulled with the cable attached and in the max position.  We replaced the cable with a universal design so we can set and adjust it properly. We do apologize for the time it took to get the truck back on the road, even more so that we had to work on it several times, for any reason. The additional $460.00 consisted of a $27.00 cable, and labor charges of $433.00.  To resolve any dispute or issues, we are willing to extend our warranty an additional 15 months or 15,000 miles with labor included, as per our original warranty guidelines.   Or we can apply $433.00 credit towards repairs you may need, or just simply refund the amount to you.  Again, we do apologize and regret that we didn't communicate with you better during the time your vehicle was here.

Review: I went into the store and asked how much it would be to get a full head of highlights done. I was told it was $125. When I went to pay at the front desk, a man told me that it cost me $161.95. I asked why and he told me it was because my hair was blow dried. I was not informed that it cost over $36 for a blow dry, and I would NEVER have had this done had I known. Getting my hair blow dried should be included in the sale, because they are the ones who need to wet my hair in order to color it. It is unfair to ask me to pay to return my hair back to its normal state. I should have been notified that it would cost more. The man who "helped" me was extremely rude and did not apologize. I would like to be refunded the $36.95 that I was wrongfully overcharged. This caused me great grief, as I now only have $2 on my debit card to hold me over until Wednesday. I carefully planned my expenses to make sure I had enough money to last me, which was why I asked the price, twice, before I got my hair done. This place changes their prices constantly and I get a different price for the SAME service each time.Desired Settlement: I want my payment refunded. They wrongfully advertise without advising customers of the cost.

We did the highlights services and the blow dry but she didn't know that the blow dry was not included to the price. We are willing to give her a complementary blow dry.
