Dear [redacted]:In reference to ID # [redacted], Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group refunded [redacted]’s rental bill in full on 3-20-14. [redacted] was completely satisfied and is currently working with us on other business. Please contact me with any additional...

questions.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The first salespeson Reed said the form was to verify my information. He did not initiate running my credit.  The second salesperson who I sat with for 40 minutes after is the one who took the form I signed to the back to "look at banks" who will allow me to have two open orders. This is the person I told multiple times that I did not want to run my credit.
What is worse and dispicable about this delearship is that Bob H[redacted]  never said he ran my credit report. He just said they would call me and never did. Why did he not inform me that they ran my credit and got rejections?  I kno why....because he knew I did not want to run my credit in the first place.
What a dishonest bunch of crooks!
I want them to remove these inquiries or I will pursue a complaint with the Attorney General's office

To Whom it may concern:The first words on the form that [redacted] filled out are “CREDIT APPLICATION". Without running [redacted] credit, and submitting her credit application to the banks, it would be impossible to "look at banks" who will allow her to have an auto loan. By completing and signing the credit application, [redacted] gave us full permission to not only run her credit, but to attempt to get her approved for an auto loan. The application was not submitted in error and therefore, we cannot issue a letter stating it was submitted in error, nor can we remove the inquiries from her credit report. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [redacted] x248,Sincerely,Richard F

To Whom it may concern:
On 9/27/2014, [redacted] came to our dealership. She completed and signed a full credit application inorder to obtain financing on a vehicle. The credit application specifically states that she authorized the DEALER(Jeff D'ambrosio's Auto...

Group), any finance company, bank, or financial institution to which the DEALER, any finance company, bank, or other financial institution submits her application to invesigate her credit and employment history, obtain credit reports, and release information about your credit experience as the law permits. This is stated directly above where [redacted] signed the credit application. When her concerns were brought to my attention on 11/13/2014, l immediately phoned [redacted] to address her concerns. She called me back approximately an hour later. She initially stated that she did not fill out a credit application or give us authorization to run her credit. When I told her that she was incorrect, she admitted that she had filled out and signed a complete credit application. Due to the fact that we have a signed and complete credit application, we proceeded forward with the process of obtaining a credit approval by submitting her information to multiple banks. The application was not submitted in error and therefore, we cannot issue a letter stating it was submitted in error, nor can we remove the inquiries from her credit report. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [redacted].SincerelyRichard F

Review: I rented a car from D'Ambrosio's Dodge rental department.I rented the car for 11 days. I received a copy of my signed agreement which was 210.00 per week and 35.00 per day unlimited miles. They billed me a total of 720.40! When I called [redacted], the manager of the rental department, he couldn't even locate my invoice to review my dispute. He requested to call me back, he called back to tell me that I was right and he was wrong, he over billed me for a week and a day. He then processed a credit for me in the amount of 66.80, which is still leaving an additional credit needed in the amount of 253.60. Now everytime I try to discuss the situation with **, he is always gone for the day, on his lunch break, or I get voicemail. I have tried to talk to his boss and was told only ** can help resolve this for me. I have left several messages and have received no response. I disputed the 253.60 with [redacted], they gave me a provisional credit which they took back since ** faxed them a copy of an unsigned rental agreement charging me for 2 weeks and 5 days but listing 4/12/13 thru 4/22/13 as the close out date and saying the car wasn't received back until 4/30 on a letterhead typed note. This is unfair and I want my money back. I guess [redacted] got even with me for declining to go out to lunch with him. Does this mean if I would have accepted his offer I would have been billed correctly? I will never ever use D'ambrosio's Dodge rental department , nor would I ever purchase a vehichle from them! Crooks! I am still waiting on a return call from Jeff D'Ambrosio himself to see if he will return my call and review my dispute and credit me the money ** over billed for. 253.60 is alot of money!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check for $253.60 plus the 35.00 fee charged to me by [redacted]. I have spent hours trying to resolve this and I just want the money they rightfully owe to me!

Review: I have had my 2011 Jeep Wrangler back 6 times for a water leak. It has not been fixed. It leaks worse now after repairs and now the door ajar light comes on as they have added new gaskets that don't work. This started over 9 months ago. The vehicle is under warranty. I purchased the vehicle new.Desired Settlement: They have had 6 attempts at repair and can't fix it. I want a new vehicle. Lemon law issue to me at this point. They can't fix it, the leak is worse now.

Review: On August 17, 2010 I purchased a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer from the Jeff D'Ambrosio auto group. During the purchase of the vehicle it was promised to me that I would receive a voucher for a full tank of gas and that my car would be fully detailed before I took it home and that I would receive an owners manual. After signing the contract around 3pm EST, I waited for four hours to get my car detailed and receive my gas voucher and get my owners manual. none of these things happened. My sales representative decided that it was alright to leave before I had received my services due and passed me off onto another representative ensuring that I would soon be able to leave with my new car in proper condition. At 7pm EST, I was forced to leave due to prior engagements elsewhere. I never received my voucher and the car was never detailed. I had to return to active duty service in [redacted], NC the following week so I was never able to return for my services due. On August 26, 2013 after returning from Afghanistan I returned to Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group to fix multiple defects in my vehicle that appeared just after 30,000 miles were accrued on the vehicle. While my car was being repaired I spoke to the sales representative and the sales manager who sold my vehicle to me three years prior. They apologized for the inconvenience and told me that when I came to pick my car up it would be completely detailed and have a full tank of gas. When I returned the next day, yet again, none of these things had happened. No one ever spoke to the service department and my car wasn't taken care of in regards to the detail and tank of gas. there was however a 350 dollar charge for a 30,000 mile warranty inspection done on the vehicle. I expressed my irritation with the service manager who referred me to the sales manager. The sales manager gave his emotionless apology yet again and told me that my car would be detailed immediately and the car would be filled up with gas. After asking what they would do to keep my business, I was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I asked if any credit could be put towards my bill and they claimed "absolutely not". I told them that they had lost my business and in the future I would go elsewhere for service and purchases. After paying my bill, I left and was told that I would be given a call when my vehicle was ready. When I returned to pick my vehicle up, for the third time, it had not been detailed and the tank was still sitting at 1/3 full.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to receive the services that are due and a formal apology at the least. I am extremely unhappy with the way I was treated and how I was taken advantage of. After my experience I have heard similar stories from friends and family members. This was not the first time this has happened and I have a strong feeling it will not be the last.

Dear [redacted],

I'm writing in regards to [redacted]'s complaint. He did purchase the car 3 years ago. I understand he was in Afghanistan. We never received a call or a stop by that there was an issue until a few days ago. The owners manual was ordered for him that same day. When he returned the following day the service manager and myself, the sales manager, did speak to him. He did authorize the 30,000 miles check up work to be done. The 30,000 mile check up is required by the manufacturer to not void the warranty. He felt he should not have to pay for it that either Mitsubishi or us should. Every consumer is responsible to maintain their own service requirements. Also in speaking to him, I did tell him that I would get gas for him and get the car detailed but the vehicle was not finished in service. When he felt like he shouldn't have to pay for the service he said forget about it and stormed out. I then left and went on to my daily routine. If he wants to come by one day when he is available I have no problem getting his car detailed and gas put in it for him as promised.

Thanks

Review: Purchased a vehicle from D'Aambrosio ans they to deliver the vehicle properly serviced and maintained. The car lacked inspection credentials as well as components that could pass inspection ie tires, brake pads and rotors.Desired Settlement: Replace all hardware listed above immediately.

Review: I had my car here for 3 1/2 weeks, for work that was being done that was covered under warranty. The dealership gave me a loaner and said that was also covered under warranty. When my car was finally done I went back to get it and they tried to tell me I owed them $900 for the rental. The owner of the dealership was extremely rude to me about paying it, he would not even listen to anything I had to say. This was the 3rd time my car had been to them for repairs for electrical problems in less then 2 years and my car was bought from them brand new. I left the dealership being told that in a week [redacted] would be there and they would do an investigation into why they should pay for my rental. However when I left the dealership I discovered they charged my card once while my car was in the shop for repairs for $629.00 and another charge for $80.00. I never authorized these charges or was even told they were going to charge my card that was left on file so I could be given the rental. I tried to call the dealership about it and every time they said they were "transferring" me they hung up on me. I called my bank to dispute the claims.Desired Settlement: $709 that they took from me unauthorized I want returned to me.

Review: My family and I just moved to this state (PA) after my husband finished his contract with the Marines. We had one vehicle and needed two, so we went as local as we could. I was very disrespected by the way the finance guy cussed and downgraded my family for wanting to come back and sign papers in the morning, papers that we did not have after 5 hours or more of waiting, after they insisted us not to use the company we were preapproved with before we entered the place. Even after feeling victimized, we went back to sign the papers they finally drew up, and we were finished. Well, so we thought. They got dates wrong so I needed to go back in and redo all of the paper work, I never got copies of, but apparently the originals I had were ok. Over a month now since I expected to hear from the finance company they fixed us up with and I never receive any paper work in the mail to make payments noting, so I call them. This lien company did not have my or the car`s information, we did not exist to them. SO they told us to call the dealership. I give the dealership a call and they told me to, my paper work fell through the cracks. That I needed to go back that day to redo all of the paper work.Desired Settlement: When I finished the paper work I put a down payment back and I did some service on the car, I thought I purchased, but never did. I just want my down payment back and my service on the car that I have a receipt for refunded as well.

June 11, 2014Dear **. [redacted],Re: Case ID [redacted]. [redacted] down payment and services totaling $635.45 was refunded in full on 6-3-14. Sincerely,

Review: I was under the impression that I purchased a car with D'Ambrosio Auto Group, so I signed a financing contract and left the dealership with the car. Soon after I received three denial letters in the mail indicating that I would not receive financing from those companies. As I received the letters, I attempted to speak with someone who could speak in detail about my situations several times over the course of 1.5 months. No one returned my call regarding the matter (only a few times about the IOU items that were bundled into the purchase). Finally I just called to speak with a manager, I explained my situation and suddenly I was flooded with calls about the matter. Two months after I drove the car off the lot, I was told that I needed to return to the dealership to sign a new contract. I asked about the details of the contract and was told that they could not be discussed over the phone except that the monthly payment would be $20 lower than what the original contract stated. Naturally, I questioned the validity of this new proposed contract since the first one fell through. I have never experienced this when purchasing vehicles in the past and I need an explanation without having to drive 2 hours one-way to the dealership only to find out that things will not work out favorably.Desired Settlement: Explanation of what took place and why it occurred

Reversal of credit reporting if excessive credit checks were performed to secure the new contract

All-weather mats and spare key (physical key and programming) at no charge (currently I was charged for them)

Reduced monthly payments by at least $20/month

Extended warranty: 4-year/60,000 mile warranty at same price as original contract (AutoProtec or Five State Complete)

Debt cancellation agreement

Debt suspension agreement

Glosscoat maintenance

UVP for 5 years: Ultimate Vehicle Protection (tire/wheel/rim, dent/ding, windshield, key replacement)

Replaced headlight at no additional cost - the headlight has been out since I had the car, I just didn't notice because I purchased the car during the day. My mechanic won't replace it for me without charging an exorbitant fee.

Review: I received a letter from Jeff D'Ambrosio stating that I qualified for an auto loan up to $39,000.00. I went to the dealership and was greeted by Reed. I was repeat customer so he took out a form and asked me to confirm my information on the form which I did and signed. I then showed him the offer letter. He dissappeared for about 5 mins then came back and told me this offer had to be handled by another salesperson Bob H[redacted]. I showed Bob H[redacted] the offer and told him I was interesed in getting a car for my daughter. I explained that I was rebuilding my credit and if the offer involved running my credit I was not interested. Bob H[redacted] said they could look at lenders who will allow you to have two open orders without running my credit. He dissappeared to the finance department then came back and told me they were looking. I sat there with Bob H[redacted] for about 40 mintes. I again reinforced that I did not want to touch my credit. He assured me he was not. He went to the finance department and came back and told me they would call me. I never heard from Bob again. I am signed up with [redacted] as I am rebuilding my credit and got an alert that I had 6 hard inquiries into my credit. Bob H[redacted] and Jeff D'Ambrosio ran my credit 6 times! And Bob H[redacted] never told me he ran my credit after I told him not to. I reached out to Paul F[redacted] the GM who never responded. I got a call from an angry Rich D[redacted] who said he had a signed credit application from me which gave them the right to run my credit. I explained I repeatedly told Bob H[redacted] not to run my credit but he said I was lying. I explained that I was never told they were running my credit. This dealerships behavior is illegal and dishonest. I told him I wanted the 6 inquiries removed from my credit and he said he would not because I requested it. He got very angry and ended the call.Desired Settlement: I want Jeff D'Ambrosio to remove the 6 hard inquiries they made into my credit on 9/27/2014.
