Review: [redacted] from jer development installed an engine and transmission on my 92 lexus sc400 and it had rattling noise on the day I got the car back. I came 2 weeks later pointing out the noise from the engine and he refused to fix it for free and he asked $1500 to fix it. It is a rod knock on cylinder 4 and linh is being dishonest about it. He put on a defective engine in my car. The total cost came out to be $7000. The job was done in april 2013. Not even a year, the engine broke down. I contacted him to ask for his responsibility and he never responded. I called him a couple times and he has been ignoring me.Desired Settlement: I received a quote from 3 shops and they all claimed that the engine is no good and must be replaced. The total cost of the fix is $3000 including another engine (same as the one linh put in my car) and labor to take out the old engine,purchase a new one,replace all the bearings,and install it to my car. I have receipt from linh's dishonest work and another shops quote foe the repairs.
