Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
The response from the business was not truthful as to my statements to the business and as to the way they handled the original paperwork concerning this water heaterTheir response is indicative of their general attitude toward their customersIt is my experience that when a business makes statements, as they have, that it is a waste of time to pursue any meaningful resolution with themIt is unfortunate that they have chosen to sacrifice their own reputation

Sent: Thursday, June 11, 4:PM To: drteam Cc: *** Subject: COMPLAINT No *** for Joe the Plumber Joe the Plumber received another comment from *** *** and I tryed to post it but the system did not allowed me to do itThis is my response: *** *** never going to be happy because she is expecting to receive the money she paid for the re-pipe backShe called Joe the Plumber business owner dishonest, consistently lying and telling half-truthsA lie is saying in her last complaint that she did not pay *** *** Company because she just received the check from Joe the Plumber Insurance (May 9th), when the truth is that she still did not pay *** *** *** *** as of today June 11th one month after. (Attorney will be involved and we will be able to prove it)Dishonest is a Customer who receives a check for over $ from Joe the Plumber Insurance and not paying the *** *** when its payment was included in the check. Dishonest is a Customer who waited until Joe the Plumber was about to finish the re-pipe for the second time and don’t let us get it done retaining the technician’s tools for almost two months waiting for the Insurance money and using this as an excuse to still asking for the money backLast but not least *** *** says she found Joe the Plumber van in a barAnd YES, that is correct because we do residential and commercial services too 24/(as bars, restaurants, gentleman bars, churches, etc.), so we could be anywhere at any timeThis case is closed for Joe the Plumber and this is our last responseFurther comments will be forward to the legal office

Hello Revdex.com, On July 28 2014, we arrived at the following address, [redacted]. As Mr. [redacted] let us know he wanted a estimate on a water leak in his main line. Upon arriving there we saw that Mr. [redacted] had already started looking for the water leak in his main line. The hole was 3 ft by 3 ft on the side of his house. My plumber, [redacted] let him know what was going on with the hole, how the copper was exposed and that he would be happy to take over for him. Before even starting the job, the hole was already contained water and was muddy. We dug up the leaking pipe, we then proceeded to fix it. Once it was fixed and everything was good and done, my plumber, [redacted] had suggested to Mr. [redacted] that if it would be best to let the hole dry up, that way it would be a cleaner process instead of just trying to pile mud after mud. Mr. [redacted] had no problem with the request of my plumber suggestion, he wanted to give the hole some time as well to see if the leak was repaired. He also asked my plumber if he could do fill the hole with sand. My plumber said that was fine, to give us a call once the hole was dry. Mr. [redacted] was put on the schedule Aug 2nd 2014, at 9:00 am-11:00 am, my plumber called Mr. [redacted], as we do every customer before arriving at their home so we know we have a okay to still arrive at their property, this call was to see if the hole was patch up and if we could go patch it up. Mr. [redacted] did not pick up the phone, my plumber left a message saying that if he could call back and let him know the update of the hole. On Aug 6th, upon this knowledge of this review, we asked our plumber what had happened and if he could call Mr. [redacted] and apologize for what had happened. My plumber called Mr. [redacted] again that day to ask him a few question about the review and what had happened that we unsatisfied him. He left him another voice mail and on top of it, he decided to take his lunch break and go see Mr. [redacted] to make sure that he could do the hole right then and there and if he could apologize in person. Arriving to Mr. [redacted]'s home, his left side neighbor was out and saw my plumber arrive to the scene, as well as knocking on his door waiting for a response. Mr. [redacted], we assume was not home at that time. When my plumber was about to leave, he saw that the hole was already filled up. He assumed that Mr. [redacted] probably filled the hole since it was with sand. Prior to all this, Mr. [redacted] was a curiosity and very respectful customer, he wrote down on my plumber slip, satisfaction. I do apologize to Mr. [redacted] for whatever had happened, he was a amazing customer to work with, and we hope that whatever happened to dissatisfy him during this process does not let that hurt our business relationship.

With all due respect,

[redacted]

We don’t  understand what  is not truthful when we are backing up our
words with printed information
From the
[redacted] manufacturer.
We are not
inventing anything. We are not trying to avoid our responsibility. But the real
truth is that the water heater is in great conditions and if you don’t trust on
us you still have 8 years warranty with the manufacturer to validate your
warranty.
The only
different again is that you don’t have to deal with Joe the Plumber anymore,
you have to go through the manufacturer.
If they
understand the water heater is not working properly they will be more than happy
to replace your one.
Again, we
are here to help and serve all our Customers because they are our priority.
But neither
[redacted] nor  Joe the Plumber will take responsibility
for the conditions of the attic where the water heater is functioning to the
point to return the money for the unit.
To finalize
with this complaint Joe the Plumber never is going to sacrifice its reputation
for one customer that did not want to work with us, being negative to any
solution that we offered and making Joe the Plumber responsible for something
that is not.
Please call
1800 number on the sticker attached to the water heater.

COMPLAINT ID [redacted]Joe the Plumber don’t need to lie because Joe the Plumber never walk away, always facing any situation and assumes his responsibility. And YES, we offered the customer coming back in good faith because we offered to re-do the re-piping again and offering our Insurance company to pay for all the damages.Besides none of our employees would refused to do any job saying that he wouldn’t like his name involved in such a problem because each one of our technician is part of Joe the Plumber.Together we are a team and we work as a team.Another important point in this situation is that Joe the Plumber is not responsible for the religious orientation of their technicians. We don’t understand how such a [redacted]person could keep the tools and materials that belongs to the technician being his source of income.Joe the Plumber never said that customer didn’t pay [redacted]. Joe the Plumber said that the customer didn’t let them finished their job. After we were notified that the customer received a GOOD check from our Insurance Company this case is closed for us. But we contacted [redacted] and they told Joe the Plumber that the customer was reviewing their invoice arguing with this company too. Finally for Joe the Plumber is always a pleasure to respond a review, never a waste of time because our customers are our priority.

To begin
nothing is wrong with the water heater. The warranty is the JTP invoice which
was given to the customer in hand and was no left in his attic.
Same day the
Customer called Joe the Plumber we responded and we offered the Customer the
explanation of the problem with the solution but he...

did not want to listen to
us.
He just
insulted the Technician with profane language and  we are here to serve our clients but not to
receive any kind of insults like the ones we received.
Next day we
received the complaint through Revdex.com without giving us the opportunity to honor our
warranty.
We requested
printed information about the new water heaters functioning that we attached.
We offered 8
years warranty on the water heater to the Customer and our lifetime warranty in
our labor but due to the insults and the refusal of service from the Customer
Joe the Plumber warranty is void and he is true, we are not retuning any money
because the water heater is working good.
Now the
customer can still go for the warranty through the manufacturer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
It is more than obvious that this business owner is simply dishonest, as he continues to lie.  What is not worth my time any longer is trying to resolve a problem with someone who consistently lies and tells half truths and has walked away with money that was not earned.  He also has all of his tools, and if claims otherwise is once again a liar.    I rest this in God's hands... He knows the whole story, and I rest easy.  If this owner did not want religion to be brought in to it, he should not have made that part of the reasoning behind his promoting his business to begin with.  I wanted a Christian, if that is what I got, than I simply pray for him.   Ironically, on a lunch break last week at a restaurant there was a van in the parking lot of the business next door... A bar.  It certainly explained a lot.  Please close this case, not that we have resolved it, but because this type of conflict resolution is simply a waste of time and I seek to end discussions with no resolution.  Their reputation will catch up with them on its own, regardless of my complaint.
Regards.

Hello Revdex.com. On July 28 2014, we showed up to the job site @ 10:00 am. On our arrival we saw that [redacted] had already dug up a 3 ft by 3 ft hole on the side of house, we had no knowledge of this hole existing. He told my plumber that he was looking for the leak already prior to our arrival. My plumber...

let him know what was going on with the hole,  how the copper was exposed and that he would be happy to dig up the rest. Before even starting the job, the hole was already filled with water and on top of that [redacted] had mud piles every where, plus the hole was muddy, making the digging a little more difficult. We DID finish the job, we dug up the pipe and we fixed it as well.  My plumber had suggested to [redacted] that it would be a good idea to wait for the hole to dry up so it would be a cleaner process. [redacted] agreed upon this request saying that it was fine that it would give him time to see if the line was fixed as well. He suggested to my plumber that he might add sand. My plumber said that's fine, give us a call back when the hole is dry so we can come back and patch it up. He did not call us back, my plumber [redacted] then took it upon himself to call him on Aug the 2nd, to see if the hole was dried up so he can go and patch up the hole for [redacted]. [redacted] did not pick up his phone. so therefore [redacted] left him a message saying if he could call him back and let him know the update. Aug 6th upon this knowledge of this review [redacted] call him again, he did not answer once again. Trying to see where we unsatisfied [redacted], he went up to his home, arriving there his left side neighbor saw [redacted] approach the door and ring the doorbell waiting for [redacted]. [redacted] never came to the door. He saw that the whole was already with sand and assumed [redacted] did the job himself. During this whole process [redacted] was a great client, he even wrote down satisfaction on his slip. I'm not sure what happened that we did to unsatisfied him, the job was done, [redacted] repaired it and the hole as was agreed upon by my party and [redacted]'s that they would wait for it to dry up before doing anything forward as well as [redacted] calling us back when that was dried up, which he did not do. I do apologize for whatever happened and we would like to make the customer happy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  From: [redacted]  Sent: Saturday, May 09, 2015 11:50 PM To: drteam Subject: ReplyHello,I needed a little extra time to reply.   Please remember My house is in complete disarray, and I spend all free time trying to fix what I can and working to get insurance company to help out.  The reply the plumber sent has lies.  I can reply with my truth, but it seems this could go on forever.  They did not  offer to come out on good faith.  They came out because I found more copper pipes in my home that were to have been replaced already.  They sent one of their employees out to see it and all the plumbing was so poorly done, he refused to repair because he did not want his name attached to it.  I called the owner Joe and he said that it had all been done wrong, and would come out to see it. He sent his son instead (the one who did the work).  His co-worker joined him, and was appalled.  The son blamed it all on a sub-contractor he worked with.  He was supervising and saw the final product.   And no, they didn't walk away...  After giving them more than 4 warnings that I was seeing the same problems they presented with the first time, and sitting personally with the son, to express my concerns during the second re-plumb... I clarified that I needed to trust their word if they were to be allowed in my home again.  They continued to break their word.  They did not walk away, I told them they could not come back in, they could keep all supplies and tools, and give me my money back. They refused to return ANY money.   And as for their saying I had not paid the [redacted] company... That is because I just received the check from his insurance to repair damage from leak, yesterday.  The insurance could easily verify that.  Clearly, this plumber just wants to continue lying. It is a waste of my time to even continue this.  [redacted]"The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering”  --[redacted]
