Last we spoke I needed to get a hold of *** *** since they have been dealing with them as well, we needed to know what was told to themI spoke to *** who is the sales rep for ***, she told me that she told customer that the unit has to go back to the plant to address the repairsIf he can't bring it back she can see if a shop near by is able to take the unit off and return it to the plant located in Woodland, CAShe also suggested that if the camper shell is returned to the plant and is determined that the camper shell has to be re-built she will then offer a refundBut if the camper shell can be repaired they will not offer a refund, customer declined both offersWe have been going back and forth with this issue and now a third party is involved making it hard to see what was told and who communicated with whoAs we stated before, we are not the manufactures of the shell, we sale themThe responses she was emailed back at the beginning about the paint shop was from the warranty dept at *** west*** forwarded the responses to herBoth *** and our facility have offered to take care of the warranty issues but has to be brought back to the plantWe c***ot help the customer without seeing the shell here at our facility. *** ***

The unit that was sold to *** had a payoff amount for Bank of the westPayoff was sent to Bank of the west on 6-30-We didn't recieve title until 9/16/2015, we then processed transaction through Dmv*** contacted me to let me know she still hadnt received the tilte but did have the
registrationI then requested duplicate title through certified mailI can not control the bank to sent me the title early or dmv to process faster I have no control of the mail carrier I have been in contact with *** throughout the process

I am rejecting this response because:Obviously, there are some discrepancies between our story and theirsThese are dishonest peopleThey said chips, but it is actually a 2” long scratch that is so deep it goes down to the metalThey wired our truck for the camper shell first without letting us know that they were unable to install it at that timeWe also paid for the camper shell in full on the day the truck was wired not the day we received the camperThey had me waste my time and get an estimate at a local body shop with no intentions of honoring the request I honestly don’t understand why we are still having to deal with thisWe were told by *** that if they repaired the scratch in the camper it would be repaired by ET quality RV’s own paint shop, so I am not understanding what they meant when they wrote “Like any warranty the product has to be returned to the manufacture for repairs.” If this is the case than A) Why would they repair it in their own paint shop and B) Why would they have me waste my time getting an estimate from a local body shopWhen they wrote that TAG would pick up the camper to be repaired did they mean from my house? If so than yes, we are okay with thisAlso, who is ***? I also have ALL the emails between *** and myself, so I will also forward them

I am rejecting this response because: Since the beginning of this complaint we keep coming across issue after issue with this camperWhen the storms hit we found out that the back window leaks water into the back of the truckThere is an issue with the wiring that we were previously unaware of which causes the brake light to flash when the left turn signal is onThe interior light inside the camper only works if the key is onAlso the driver side window does not lock and can be pushed open from the outside leaving expensive tools vulnerable to theftThese are all issues in addition to the first complaint of a large scratch in the side of the camperWe have spoken to *** *** the owner of E.TQuality R.Vregarding all of these issues on March 6th He told told my husband he would call him back after he spoke with TAG but he never didWe also spoke to Ann the sales rep for *** *** (tag) on march 12th and 13th regarding all of these issues and she suggested that she would call E.Tand ask them to take the camper back and give us a refundShe called us back today and said that *** at E.T Quality R.Vsaid no they would not do that .With all of these issues with the camper we do not want anything to do with either E.TQuality R.V or *** *** as we feel that they have a poor manufacturing process and quality controlAt this point all we want is to return the defective camper and receive a full refund and put this issue behind usThis has been going on since October of

[redacted] Called on 10/4/17 to order a camper shell, after getting all the information off the truck I asked for a deposit as this is a special order. I asked for at least half of the amount or $700.00, she paid $700 with visa card. We made an appt so we can install camper shell, customer called...

day before to make sure the CAMPER SHELL had arrived, our mistake was trusting that all parts were inside the camper shell how its supposed to be. When the technician went to install he noticed that the tailgate cap is missing, he notified the front desk so we let the customer know. We told him that the cap is missing and that we can do all the wiring for him so when he comes back all we have to do is just mount it. He agreed, he asked for compensation for his gas to come out  here. We refunded it back to his card. We contacted [redacted] who manufactures the [redacted] shells, they let us know that they would send out the tailgate out the next day. We called [redacted] the next day when we did not receive the cap, we left numerous messages. Finally after a few calls they returned our call and let us know that it will be sent out right away. Soon as we received the part we contacted customer to let them know that we received part and told them that whatever day works better for them we will install the camper shell. Upon arrival customer handed over the keys and said he would take care of the bill at that time. Since the electrical was all done, the technician mounted the shell, as he was adjusting it he noticed the chips in the front passenger side. I informed customer and we both went out to look at the chips. I told him we would gladly repair the defect, he said it was not a big issue that he would come later when he isn't busy. Had this been caught earlier we would've taken care of it. We submitted pictures to the warranty dept at [redacted], they said they would pick up the shell and repair it Or give us $150 to repair as this is a quick repair for them. We forwarded the emails to the customer soon as we would get an email from the warranty dept. We have to go through these steps for warranty as this is a manufacture defect. Like any warranty the product has to be returned to the manufacture for repairs. [redacted] has offered to pay $150 to be repaired, or $100 credit to customer. I have attached emails of the conversations between the customer and [redacted], it includes the forwarded messages from [redacted].
