If am trying to get a refund because I never recieved the product and the vendor offered to send me another kit to a DIFFERENT address. I do not have a different address for them to send it to. Also, I did file a claim with paypal and it is UNDER REVIEW not declined. Obviously UPS left the package at my door or a door near my house but it was NOT there when I got home from work. According to UPS the vendor has to file a claim with them to get there money pack for the missing package but I can not. So once again I DO NOT have my item that I ordered. Their website states
Delivery:
All items will be delivered within days unless item is back orderedIn the unlikely event of a back order, RPI Designs will contact customer to cancel the order or wait until item is in stock
Their tracking info shows it was delivered later then days after I ordered the parts Also, I have been told conflicting information about when my order was delivered and where it was delivered to. I am including a copy of the emails that they have sent me below:
Hi
The tracking number says it was delivered thoughThe only thing we could do is ship
another kit to another address for you

I was wondering what I need to do to just go ahead and cancel my order and get a refund. It has been a month now that I’ve been trying to get these and I’m honestly just tired of waiting. They should have been here weeks ago

I would like a refund because this was suppose to be a gift and because it's taken so long to get it I had to get something different. I DO NOT have my item, it's obivious that UPS delivered it to the wrong address or something took it off my front porch but that is not my fault and the vendor has to contact UPS to get their money back for it. I should get my money back because I paid for an item that I did not receive.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
RPI Designs' description of this event is bogus. What else could they say though other than to bash the customer. First of all, I was never loud and screaming as their description describes. Nor, will I fall to that level here. They were just plain ignorant. The only thing that was so-called "damaged" was that I put the frame on my car for the week described with the screws that were given ... and the screws left a mark from being tightened. I'm sure this frame was never thrown away afterward as they described as all that was needed was for it to be sanded and repainted the proper color.
I posted this same complaint on their FaceBook page. It was how the event actually happened. Their ignorance of a paying customer continued as they deleted it. As they deleted it, I re-posted the same complaint and was eventually blocked as I described that they had threatened to do in my original complaint. I'm guessing it's their way to resolve issues with customers and it's a habit since I was told early on that they would block me. I'm also guessing it's their definition of "spam". No, it's a complaint.
In actuality, this is not about money to me and never was from the very beginning. Like I mentioned earlier ... I thought they would offer to re-paint the frame. My offer for them to come out to my car in the lot and for them to see that the paint match was off would have been all that was needed. Their refusing this offer and then their actions afterward were appalling to me. This is more about RPI's customer service and respect to a paying customer who bought an item from them and was looking for a quality product. It wasn't delivered and then I was subjected to their abuse because of their bad paint match. This whole episode at their site at [redacted] lasted approximately 3 minutes. It's as if they have handled issues in the past this same way. They were quick to react as if practiced. Even their other Revdex.com issues are customer service related. Everyone can't be wrong.
This is about RPI's ineptitude and their customer service reaction afterward. I realize my issue will not be amicably resolved but my thoughts are to warn others about their business practices.

Customer bought parts that we shipped via UPS. UPS delivered them to customers address (according to UPS' website). Customer claims she never got. We said that is ok, we'll just send another kit, no charge to customer. Customer said no, I don't want them any longer and want a refund. Per company...

policy, we do not refund a customer after UPS tracking number shows delivery. Customer then went to Paypal and did a dispute. We provided Paypal the tracking number and customer did not get her money back from Paypal as we provided proof of delivery. So customer decides to take a dispute out with the Revdex.com. We have done all we can do to try to help customer, but the customer wants to keep the product (according to UPS tracking) and get a refund.

Customer bought and installed a license plate frame for his Corvette. He damaged the frame and brought back to our booth at [redacted] 1 year after the purchase. Since it was damaged and installed, I offered the customer a full $[redacted] exchange for parts in our booth. He immediately got loud...

and started to create a scene. I told him that I would also be able to give him a [redacted] refund and return the damaged part that we would have to through into the trash. Again, he got loud and continued to create a scene. At this point I told the customer he could leave or select one of the two options. He got louder, screaming and at this point the entire crowd in our booth was watching. We gave him $[redacted] and took his damaged frame and escorted him out of our booth. After he left the customers in the booth came over and apologized that a fellow Corvette owner could be so rude.
Customer then started to spam our FACEBOOK page from 3pm until 8pm on Sunday night. We had to block the customer as he was creating another "scene" on Facebook.
We are not going to offer the customer anymore money. Again, he wanted a full refund on a part he damaged ONE YEAR AFTER THE PURCHASE.

Thank you,
