Quite possibly the worst. I have been a loyal customer for the past few years and brought in a pair of pants to have a stain removed. When I picked up the pants I brought them home and realized there were stains all over them! I called John's and they said to bring them back and they would see what they could do to fix it. I brought the pants back and they never called me (after two weeks). I gave them some time since I figured these things could take some time, and after going back in today...I will never go back there. They were accusing me of bleaching the pants (why on earth would I do that) and went from saying they would pay me back for the damage to saying they could do nothing at all. The son was speaking in a very harsh tone and going on and on about his personal problems. The other man there was actually trying to be nice, but at this point it did not matter - the damage was done. He offered me a store credit, but why would I want that at this point?
I would never recommend this business to anyone. Being part of a family business myself, I always make sure to keep my customers happy - NO MATTER WHAT.
Please do not waste your time or money going here...you will not be happy.

Review: On 7/*/2014 I went to John's Cleaner's and Tailors to have two dresses hemmed. I tried both dresses on for him to pin the dresses for the appropriate measurements for the alterations. I noticed he pinned the front of both dresses but not the back of them. It cost $30 each, to have them hemmed. I picked them both up on 7/**/2014. At that time I could tell that the back was noticeable shorter than the front of the dress. I mentioned it to him and he said that is because your bust line will make the front shorter. When I got home I tried the dresses both on and they are significantly shorter in the back. They are too short in the back to even wear. They barely even cover my rear end. I can't wear either one of these dress like this. One dress was a brand new Kooples dress ($325.00) still with the tags on it. The other dress was Tibi ($675). I took the dress back to him and explained we have a problem. I tried on both dress for him to show him they were not hemmed correctly, that they were entirely to short in the back, and I am now unable to wear them. He said, "I cut an equal amount of fabric off of them from the front and back. they must be faulty from the factory. I don't know how to fix that, it's going to cost you a lot of money, it will take me all day." These are both High End companies, they aren't faulty. He refused to fix them.Desired Settlement: I would like either the replacement value paid or a refund for the cost of the work he did and what it will cost me to have both of these dresses fixed so I can wear them.
