I would give a zero star if I could. Saturday morning and still no heat since Thursday night. Friday, I called off work to get the heat fixed. Johnson HVAC came Friday around 1130am checked the furnace and said it is the breaker or panel issue. Called electrician who came and replace a breaker around 230pm. At 300pm I checked the breaker and it was very warm to touch and tripped shortly after. The electrician came back at Friday 425pm and changed the breaker again and tested the amp pull that was 57.7 on the top leg and 53.8 on the bottom leg. The electrician stated that the furnace is pulling way too many amps. I called Johnson HVAC at 432pm and left a message for a return call and did not receive one before they closed. Saturday, I called the after hour number at 830am and was told twice that he is not working today. He stated he would call another technician and call me right back. At 1030am I called again and could not leave message because the mailbox was full. I was called back at 1033am and informed they will be out Monday and no one is working this weekend. I do not have heat and the house is low 60's and dropping fast. She said this is the best that they can do. Avoid this company like the coronavirus.

I called and spoke with Orville late Thursday. Told him the symptoms I was having with my water heater, and he assured me that they could get to my house and fix it the next day. Bud showed up a little after lunchtime. He was kind, courteous, and very quick to troubleshoot and fix the issue. Will definitely use them again. Great service and very nice people!

An "F" rating for this business is unfair. We had Johnson HVAC come to our home as a dispatch from our home warranty service, and they were on-time, courteous, and fixed the problem relatively quickly. As a contractor myself, when you service five or six customers a day, five days a week, that's over a 100 a month. Sometimes you try to respond to a complaint but the unhappy customer has moved on, and won't even reply. Seven unanswered complaints in five years, out of a possible 5,000+ satisfied customers, is NOT grounds for an "F" rating.

The company was contracted through *** to fix our Hvac system. To start they incorrectly diagnosed my system which led to me paying $550 dollars for refrigerant. The condenser was out and a new heat pump was installed. I was billed $180 because “pad and outside breaker are not up to code.” After the heat pump was installed I realized neither the pad or breaker had been changed. I called Johnson HVAC and was told they would mail me a $180 refund. That was over 3 weeks ago.

Customer was issued a check for $180 on December 4, 2019.

I must admit we were reluctant to use Johnson HVAC but they were the only company recommended by our AHS warranty. Much to our surprise, and notwithstanding the Revdex.com reviews, we met with Mr. Orville Johnson and asked numerous questions about the process, shared our expectations and sought his direction in guiding us through this repair. Orville Johnson was skilled, knowledgeable and respected our personal space. He thoroughly explained what would happen, the length of time it would take to navigate the process and reassured us that AHS was reputable and stop by their warranty. Every step of the way we were informed by Orville, Heather or David. Be advised we had no AC when the temps were in the high 80s! Suffice it to say, we were sweating bullets but we got through it! Infortunately, there was a glitch in the order and we received an AC unit without heat. Mr. Orville Johnson recognized this immediately and that set the delivery back a couple days. But, we received calls from Heather assuring us that Orville was following up. The next day we had air! What a wonderful day that was to know that those upper 80 degree temps were no longer leaving us sweltering indoors. We have already referred Mr. Orville Johnson to friends. I know they will be as pleased as we were with this experience! We highly recommend Johnson HVAC LLC!

Very professional and friendly Techincians. They helped me with an install of a new HVAC unit after replacing an old one.

He gets the job done, and he's professional.

Johnson HVAC was recommended to us by someone that goes to our church. They did an amazing job with a full install of our AC unit. Mr Johnson came to the house to do the diagnosis and within a couple weeks we had a brand new AC installed in the apartment. Everyone was very helpful from the office staff to the technician that came to the house. We highly recommend him and his team for HVAC and plumbing services.

Orville is a very courteous, diligent and skillful professional

Paid deposit of 750 to have mainline beneath home foundation replaced via a parallel line under our deck that would tie back into house and sewer at street. ( They never gave us a receipt or a written quote nor a contract. Repeatedly said they'd get that to us.) We received a quote of 1750 for the project. They did not call to have lines in ground marked. They did not get a permit from the township. On day 1 they had 1 man with a shovel for 6-8 hours dig several shallow holes in yard. They then called for a back hoe. Two days later we came home to a filled in hole in our yard and the old pipe in our flower beds. They replaced the wrong section of pipe. It was never inspected.

I found this customer action to be very dishonest/deceitful because this customer was call to his home warranty company. We went to the customer to check on a main line blockage which the warranty company denied because it outside the structure of the home. Customer told to us that another company came out. The pipe was broken just outside the house. We agree and made arrangement based on what the customer told us. We put a laborer on the job to dig which he was unable to find that drain that the customer told us was just couple feet after the fail. We go ahead and hire a excavator to find the pipe which were successful finding the pipe. After finding the pipe I told the customer I need to sit and revisit the job because it s more than I was led to believe. The next next day customer call the office in a rage demanding deposit because we didn't pull a permit. We wouldn't have taken the job if we ween't led to believe otherwise. Customer was aware of $75 service to come to their house and it is not refundable.

I had to chase down the contractor. He cancelled several times and was also a no show. When I left messages to the company directly, they didn't return my calls. We were out of hot water for over a week and have children. They kept trying to push it back. I had to call several times a day so we wouldn't have to wait through a second weekend without hot water.
He finally came to make the repair. He replaced my part with a cheap universal part. It is very loud and is on my first floor and is annoying when in the kitchen and living room. He said everything was fixed. I started noticing water on my floor again. He obviously didn't fix everything. I called again. The appointment was for "by 6pm" he called at 6:17 to cancel. He promised to come same time the following day. I had to call him at 6:30 to see if he was coming. He finally came 1 hour later. He replaced two more parts that have not fixed the problem. He left water all over my floor. I asked him before he left everything I needed to and he mumbled and just kept saying it's fixed. After my fiance looked at what he replaced, we called to ask him to come back to put my parts back because it wasn't the issue, water was still on the floor, and the new part doesn't give me room to do laundry. He threatened him, told him to meet him at a gas station and made a comment about paying for his funeral. He was yelling and cursing and said have someone else fix it. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. I was transferred to someone to file a complaint for taking our good parts and replacing them with cheap parts, not fixing the real problem and for the threat. She told me it's trial and error like a car mechanic. They start with one part and move onto the next. I have never had a mechanic replace unnecessary parts. She also said if the tech tried all the parts then he did everything possible. She also blamed this on the home warranty company. I am also filing a complaint against the warranty company. This is a scam. I'm losing money with nothing in return. I asked her to send someone else to fix it that knew what they were doing. She said they only have one tech. I said oh really then why was a second guy with him this time. She couldn't answer me. So someone not associated with this company came to our home to help him work on our hot water heater. She didn't care about the work being incomplete, the stranger in my home, or the threat. I asked how they were going to resolve the issue and she said they weren't. I responded by stating I was filing a complaint through Revdex.com. She laughed and sarcastically said ok thanks have a nice day and hung up on me. This is not acceptable. I need a new hot water heater. It's 17 years old and leaking. The problem still isn't fixed and it is ruining my floor and could possibly be moldy.

We went to customer to replace Power Vent on Water Heater which customer complain was loud. This customer complaint about something which we have no control over -Parts that are provided by warranty company and we try to explain to customer that we aren't the one that provide the parts and husband come at me saying you are jamaican and you are *** up people.

Had requested service via home warranty company to have furnace repaired. Was contacted by Johnson HVAC to schedule an appt. Had appt for Dec 7 from 2pm-5pm and they never showed up. My dad and I called them multiple times from 4:30-5 and they never answered the call nor called back. Have no heat in house and it just keeps getting colder due to temp outside.

Poor customer service.

I apologize to customer. Th9s is just a situation wherein which we were made to take a fall for because the warranty company didn't give us the authorization to do the job and the office staff were new to the warranty company operations. That's not an excuse to leave you out in the cold. We are more experienced and will handle the situation better.

Our central air stopped working on July 3rd. On July 5th this company was called on an emergency basis by the home warranty company and they said they would be out that night. When no one showed up by 8;30 I called them. They sent someone out and my husband talked to the person on the phone to let him know what the issue was (we were out if town and had my son home to be here when he can to look at it). The guy said they woukkd be back Friday July,6th before 5:00 and that someone would call me Friday. No one called me Friday and when I didn't hear from anyone by 8:30 and no one showed up I called them. We were told they were backed up and had to get the part but that they would be out Monday before 5:00. My husband took the day off be cause they said they would be here and they called at 11:00 and said they can`t get the part and they would be out Wendsay or Thursday. Wed my husband called to get a status and they told him they talked to me on Tuesday and Wednesday and told me they would be out Thursdays, they never called me or talked to me. They set up an appt and said t they would be out Thursday between 4-8. Wed night at about 4:30 the guy shows up with his kid and does something outside for about 10 mins and says it's fixed. He never installed a part that is needed that went bad and the old part was disconnected, so how could it be fixed? The guy claimed it didn't need the part, but a company that came out 3 days before them and did all kinds of tests said the part was definitely bad and needed replaced. The A.C. still isnt fixed a week later after being deemed an emergency be cause my 90 year old mother in law lives with us and she can't handle the heat. She has to go to a friend's house during the day be cause it's too hot to stay in our house even with a window unit A.C. and now they are refusing to come back out and fix it properly. They told the warranty company that they won't come back out. They also told them the part was replaced and it wasn't. They never even ordered the part and now we find out that they billed the part and service to the warranty company for something that wasn't replaced or done. In fact the part that needs to be replaced wasn't even hooked up so I don't know how it could possibly be working. We have a bill for $172.50 from a company that looked at the AC and clearly states the part needs to be replaced. We also now owe the warranty company $100 for a repair that was not completed. I want *** to pay these to bills since they did not do the work they were suppose to do and wont come back out to finish the job.

We did go out to the customer as an emergency; when we initially went out we did explain that we couldn't do anything until we received authorization from the warranty company. We did receive the authorization and contacted our vendor rep's to order the part. The part was a special order part and due to the holiday it was backlogged and took additional time to receive. We did explain this to the customer; Joyce was impossible to work with; she sent me text messages all day long cussing and using profanity and threatning our company. I did call and spoke with her; she is now stating I never called. *** also was working on the system himself; he filled the unit with so much Freon that we had to let some out; When we left the system was working, he *** continued to have other repair folks come out and mess with the system instead of waiting for the part to come in.

My company did go out to look at the AC unit; the same day we got the call, Randy did advise the technician that he put refrigerant in the unit and the young man that he had along is NOT his child but he is an employee doing an apprenticeship through the *** program. Per guidance from the warranty company we did not respond or go back out the the customer after she sent the threatning and profanity filled text messages. The part was on order and we would have completed the job had it not been for her vulgar messages.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because the repair was not done as stated from the man who came out on Wed July 11th with the kid who looked like he was about 12 years old. The man claimed it was fixed and that it did not need the part and Randy put the refrigerant in over a year ago. Any that was put in prior to this company coming out was put in by the previous company that we had come out and look at it. If you look at the statement I attached from the previous company, you will clearly see that it states they put it in and the man never left any refrigerant out of the system but of course that is the mans work against Randy and of course the company is going to side with the employee even though she was not there so she has no clue. Yes, I did curse in the text messages, I was angry, the company was not doing as they said they would and was being paid to do but I never threatened anything. This was deemed an emergency by the warranty company which is the reason this company was contacted by them. We had another company scheduled to come out by the warranty company that Monday but it needed to be taken care of immediately and it was not and I had to keep calling because no one was calling me like they were suppose to. The man never would have come out Thursday night, July 5th as he was suppose to do had I not called at 8:45 to find out why no one had showed up and no one came out on Friday July 6th as the man told my son the night before that someone would be out in the morning and no one called that day as he told my son the office would call. Again, I had to call the office when no one called or showed up and it was 4:00 in the afternoon. This is not a reputable company by any means or they wouldn't send people out in street clothes at 9:00 an night, they would return calls or call as we were told they would and they wouldn't claim they called or talked to me when they didn't.

Regards

This company is very unresponsive with customer communication. Company also has techs that do not have the knowledge to repair your cooling units. I was told they were ordering parts after first time out and was only there 15 minutes which is not enough time to check problem. Talked to American home shield and they said they never ordered parts and should not have told us they did and made us what 3 days to come back out. I called and they said they got part in (that was never ordered). They showed up unexpected no parts and told me a/c was working fine after 20 minutes and left. 8 hours later house temp dropped 3° but outside temp dropped 10°. Then they told the AHS that they came out and installed parts and it worked. That was not true at all. If you do not know what you are doing get out of the business do not put customers off for a week with no a/c in 90° plus and knowing this was emergency service call due to elderly person living in our house. Very poor service

Came to our home 2/8/2018 and diagnosed problem with our Subzero. Made 3 follow up appointments but NEVER SHOWED UP
also said they were Subzero authorized repair company and they ARE NOT

I needed a HVAC mounted humidifier for this winter for my newly constructed home and I has a close friend of mine refer these guys mentioning them do a great job with plumbing and HVAC with a very reasonable charges. I contacted them without doing much research as my friend had a very good experienced with them. I contacted them and the response as very prompt and charge was certainly very reasonable. They worked through their schedule and accommodated my request to install the unit over on Sunday which is very nice as I work on a busy schedule. I made an unreasonable request on the job to install a Ecobee smart thermostat which I procured the same week as there was a deal for it and they accommodated my request with very minimal extra charge. After using the humidifier for a week I saw there was a small water leak so I contacted them again about it and they showed up and found out the humidifier unit installed is defective and came back with a new unit and installed it free of charge. I was looking to install a new backup sump pump as my home happens to be in a community with high water level. So I contacted them and they were very professional again and installed a Wayne pump with battery backup which I purchased from amazon as it had solid reviews. I know this review getting little long now but thought I will share my whole experience with these guys which lasted few times already. I will certainly hire them in future.
