Company states: I fixed the valve that he requested to be doneHe asked to have it replacedI replaced it for himI had already gone out twiceI told him that there was an issue with the compressorHe got upsetI told him that I would have to charge him if I came out there again

I am rejecting...

this response because:  Look...this is very simple...HE DIDN'T FIX THE A/C BUT CHARGED ME ANYWAY .  The problem with the a/c was the compressor.  This was the problem the whole time BUT He MIS-DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM as a bad valve and charged me $75.   I asked for a receipt.  He told me that if he gave me a receipt, he would need to charge me tax.  What?  He said he was a man of his word.  He is not.  He should have offered to refund my money since he DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM.  I also have my own business...I repair computers.  And just like Mr. [redacted], I tell my customers that my work is guaranteed.  If I go to someones house who is complaining that their computer stopped working and I MIS-DIAGNOSE the problem so that a week later the computer stops working again, do I say to them "that's too bad...I was wrong about my original diagnosis, and I'm sorry your computer still isn't working, but even though I told you my work is guaranteed...I am not going to fix it for the price I quoted you...AND...I am not going to refund the money you have already paid me?  You see?  It's the same thing.  It's all "smoke and mirrors" with this guy.  He's saying he came out here twice.  So what?  YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE GUARANTEE.  You didn't fix it.  You should refund my money.I strongly recommend that people steer clear of this guy.  #1..He won't give you a receipt.  #2..He lies about being a man of his word.  #3..He won't stand behind his own work.   #4..He is trying to make me (the customer) out to be the crazy one.  Do yourself a favor and just call somebody else.  You'll save yourself a world of hurt.

Review: HIS PHONE NUMBER: ###-###-####THIS GUY IS A TOTAL SCAM ARTIST AND MASTER OF BAIT-AND-SWITCH!!!I called this guy (Jordan) to come out and look at my car's A/C which had stopped working. He quoted me $50 to fix it. He came out. He didn't test the compressor. Instead he told me that the problem was a leaking valve (the easiest part to access by the way) and told me the total would be $75. I paid him the $75 and then asked for a receipt. He said if he gave me a receipt he would have to charge me tax, then gave me a "phone message" sheet that didn't even have his company name on it with some words scribbled on it. 10 days later the A/C stopped working again. He came back out (days later) and told me that the problem was NOT in fact the part he replaced,but that the problem was the compressor. He said the "new" problem would cost at least $250 (with used parts). I said "so I paid you $75 for nothing?" He said "the problem isn't the $75...the problem is you have a bad compressor". Even though I was WELL WITHIN MY WARRANTY PERIOD he refused to refund my money.Anyone who knew what they were doing, would have checked the compressor FIRST and NOT charged me for a part that wouldn't fix the problem. And then when confronted with the fact that he had MIS-DIAGNOSED the problem, he refused to refund my money.DO NOT USE THIS GUY - HE SAYS HE IS A "MAN OF HIS WORD" BUT WILL NOT GIVE YOU A RECEIPT AND WILL NOT HONOR HIS WORD. HE IS A SCAM-ARTIST WHO IS A MASTER OF BAIT AND SWITCH.Desired Settlement: Give me my money back.
