They harassed my husband at work, calling him a, "Tough Guy" for telling the collector, *** ***, to please not call him at workWhile calling about the debt to get information on payments, I was placed on permanent hold in the middle of my sentenceEven if you explain to them that you are willing to pay right then, they are rude to youI just asked questions about the payment plan, because my husband was told the lowest we could pay was $I was told this was not the caseI tried to call back to speak to a manager and was told that she would be back at 2pmCalled back at 2:12pm to speak to the manager, and spoke to ***She was very curt with me and didn't seem to care about the customer service practices

The reason Ms. [redacted] was not contacted is because her mail was
returned and we had no

of her new address.
We
submitted a deletion to clear her debt from the credit bureau   1/16/14. By doing so we went beyond our
obligations.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
That is great that you submitted a request for this to be taken off my credit, although I don't think it was going "above your obligations". You completely disregarded the fact of the other concerns I had in my complaint, such as your company not disclosing if I am on a recorded line, when I had inquired about that they let me know they do not discuss business matters like that. Well hope you know if I was on a recorded line with your company and was not disclosed that I was being recorded that is an offense that I will not take to lightly. Also your representatives are anything but professional I find them very ignorant actually.
Thanks ,

Before paying your debt directly to J R Brothers, CALL THE CREDITOR. I called the doctors office that I owed and paid them directly, much more pleasant experience. This company is beyond disrespectful and lack the very basics of customer service. Two minutes into the call, I was told "i'm not going to argue with you, I'M NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH YOU, THAANK YOU" {Click} and all I was asking was for clarification as to where the debt came from, I was hung up on by both a Representative and a "Manager". They are very accusatory and harass and bully you into paying. People who are calling to pay their debts are calling in good faith to resolve what they owe, there's no need to make them feel like they're committing white collar crimes.

Mrs. [redacted] told our representative she thought these medical bills were paid. She stated she would mail us copies of canceled checks, which she hasn't yet to this date.  Instead they file a complaint with the Revdex.com.  From our point of view that places us in a no win situation as we...

try to work with all debts.

Therefore we mailed a copy of the itemized statement to them showing charges and credits. If they dispute these amounts they must show proof of payments.

I would like to receive the detail of the billing and options available to pay this debt online with no additional fees to pay online.  I would also like to ensure that this does not negatively impact my credit since I was not provided this detail and/or communication previously.

I am more than willing to pay this debt (if owed by me); please provide the payment options to pay the bill without additional fees and no negative credit impact and I will get this taken care of asap.

Thank you.

Regards,

Ms. [redacted] was mailed a notice of this medical debt 11/14/13

showing balance and for whom it was owed.

The only contact we had, she said she was

calling her mom to see if she would pay us. The only way we knew she wanted an itemized statement was through your

complaint.   She never requested one. We were not involved in any wrong doing and sent her an itemized

statement after receiving your notice. No other calls have been made since 12/30/13.

Review: Contacted me regarding a bill for $50

When I attempted to pay the bill they added another bill for $170 on the amount and informed me only after.

It was an obvious attempt to get 2 bills collected while only discussing 1 bill with meDesired Settlement: Bill me ONLY for the $50 charge they discussed previously.

If there is another bill of $170 that should be discussed and handled independently

Rude, no professionalism

The employees of this company are rude and unprofessional. I had circumstances where a medical bill ended up being forwarded to this business. When they called me I always made a payment of whatever I could do. Despite my offer of paying initially $40, [redacted] bullied me into paying $50 and then eventually the balance of $80, threatening at points to tear up my payment and report it as a refusal to pay and report it on my credit. If that isnt bullying and poor practice, I dont know what is. While paying the balance will put me in a tight spot, but it was worth it to now have to deal with these people again.

Review: This is a debt collector in the medical field. They are the most unprofessional, classless, and rude people I have ever dealt with. While debt collection is not an easy field or pleasant one, I will never give a dime to someone who threatens and talks down to you. They never took the time to ask my situation. With the loss of a parent I was behind on several things. I will call the medical office directly and take care of the bill.Desired Settlement: being in business in the valley for 15 years I have not once made a complaint. No outcome is neccesary.

Review: 1. I do not owe, [redacted] any money. I strongly object with being wrongly accused.

2. Months ago I sent you a copy of my canceled check, showing front and back with revealed that you deposited in your [redacted] account. there no NSF stamp on the check. In spite this, you continue to harass me.

3. You have not submitted ANY FORENSIC, evidence to support your claim on NSF.

43. You submitted a typed page, showing certain data about check. The data is incorrect. And there was NO verified sources of this date (see complaint online)Desired Settlement: 5. until you show me some valid original source. DON' CALL ME. I demand to received a letter from your company fired J.R> Brothers Financial, Inc.

6. I DEMAND a letter of apology I suggest you show the copies enclosed to your attorney or CPA. My attorney has copies and I will send the Revdex.com copies too.

They harassed my husband at work, calling him a, "Tough Guy" for telling the collector, [redacted], to please not call him at work. While calling about the debt to get information on payments, I was placed on permanent hold in the middle of my sentence. Even if you explain to them that you are willing to pay right then, they are rude to you. I just asked questions about the payment plan, because my husband was told the lowest we could pay was $75.00. I was told this was not the case. I tried to call back to speak to a manager and was told that she would be back at 2pm. Called back at 2:12pm to speak to the manager, and spoke to [redacted]. She was very curt with me and didn't seem to care about the customer service practices.

I called to make payment arrangements for my 79.00 bill. The representative told me that they do not do payments. Than when I tried talking to him about it he hung up on me. I called back wanting to talk to the manager. I told her what happened and she ended up telling me that she was not going to allow me to make payments because she didnt want to. Than she hung up on me as well.

Review: Got a call this morning from JR Brothers in regards to a medical bill that I not only had forgotten about but pretty sure I paid for it over a year ago with the original medical professional. Anyway the person asked if I would resolve the matter today or accept a refusal to pay. First off I will never refuse to pay unless the agency is violating the FDCPA and every other Collection practice known to man. The guy never stated that the call was being recorded or any of the other items he has to say as a debt collector to comply with the FDCPA. He proceeded to ask about the bill owed and who it originally was with and again will I pay or not. I advised I do not work am a stay at home mom and can only afford at this time or any time $20 a month on a $263 bill. He said they only allow payments of 75 which is both illegal and [redacted]. Any Agency can say that's what they want but can definitely take less, which I know cause I used to work years ago in a collection agency and know all the tricks and laws which JR BRothers continues to violate so after he hung up on me rudely in the middle of conversation when I asked for a Supervisor I called back and asked the operator for a supervisor or the Highest manager in the building in other words the Supervisor boss. This is when Curtis answered the phone and again violating the FDCPA practices and not saying anything about recordings collections etc and I said I just spoke to one of his reps and instead of cursing or yelling all I said was that he was an it and before I could say why Curtis said bye and hung up. JR Brothers has the rudest most unprofessional employees all whom violate the FDCPA and all Collection practices and should not only be shut down but sued. I did speak with an attorney and I was within my rights to ask questions and for a payment arrangement to my terms and what I can afford and since the company VIOLATED LAWS I am well within my rights to sue them and they pay for attorney fees etc. or Resolve IssueDesired Settlement: I would like to see them not only NOT Report to the credit Bureaus and complete removal of the account but an apology for their violating practices and being rude and either send the bill back to the original creditor where I can resolve with her office or they can go above and beyond what they need to do and completely remove the collection as paid in full and still Not report on credit or I will take the attorneys advice and my recorded calls of both conversations which by Arizona law I am allowed to do and law says they have no say in the matter, and of course I will be happy to take them to court for Violating all collection practices and not even sending a letter or bill which now would have to be certified and therefore make sure this business is shut down and that they pay all attorney fees. All I ask is again an APOLOGY and REMOVAL of Account from credit reporting and return to original creditor or they can accept my payment arrangement terms till resolved.

Review: On the morning of 6/2/2014, I contacted Jr Brothers FInancial and informed them I was disputing the validity of the debt they informed me I owe. I was informed of this debt via a letter sent to an incorrect address where I do not reside. Since this was the first instance where I was informed of any owed debt, I informed JR Brothers I would be contacting the doctors office who sent them the debt, and my health insurance provider, as I believe this debt to be in error.

Upon speaking with my doctors office and my health insurance provider, I was informed I would be refunded any money spent towards settling this debt, if it was confirmed it was not my charge to pay in the first place. SInce I knew I would pay it and either be confirmed it was mine to pay, or refunded if it was not mine to pay, I had no hesitations in paying the said amount. Therefore, I contacted JR Brothers Financial again, and this time spoke to an agent [redacted] (x[redacted]). I first informed him of my information so he could locate my account, I then asked him if there was any chance I could settle for a lesser amount, upon receiving his answer of "No we do not settle" he then became very hostile. When I attempted to explain my unique situation with him, that I am in communication with my doctor and insurance, he then cut me off and informed me I either pay the full amount or they will send it to my effect my credit. As I attempted to tell him again of my situation and how I would like to pay the amount, he then hung up on me. I called him back and attempted to tell him the situation and pay, where I was greeted again with hostility, being cut off in the conversation, and hung up on. After this rude treatment, I then called [redacted]' manager [redacted] (x[redacted]) and left a voicemail explaining to her my attempt to pay the debt was met with hostility and then being hung up on. When [redacted] returned my call, I began to tell her my unique situation, it was then that [redacted] began treating me with the same hostility as [redacted] did, she began cutting me off when I would attempt to speak, and also informed me she would be terminating the conversation, and hung up one me. When I called her back, she then again greeted me with hostility and intimidation, informed me that my credit would now be effected, however her last words to me were "Do not attempt to contact this office ever again." Through these actions, they did not allow me to settle this debt, though that was my intention, and yet are telling me since it is not settled, they will be effecting my credit. It is unethical and illegal for them to accuse me of a debt, not allowing me to settle this debt, and are now attempting to effect me further for this debt.

I am outraged that my attempt to inform them of my situation was met with such hostility. A professional business can not inform someone they owe a debt, and then not allow them to speak or settle the debt, as Jr Brothers, [redacted], and [redacted] did to me. Each attempt to speak was cut off, allowing no explanation or attempt to settle the debt, each communication was terminated by the employees of JR Brothers, their actions were hostile and illegal. They refused to allow me to settle the debt, yet informed me they would be sending it to effect my credit, and they treated me with plain disrespect. They utilized intimidation and fear to try to humiliate me, and it is my hope that their company is punished before they can attempt this on any other human.Desired Settlement: It is my intention that JR Brothers, their employees, or any affiliates never contact me again. It is my intention that they do not attempt to hurt my credit, for a debt they are refusing to let me settle. It is my intention that JR Brothers are punished in for their illegal business activities, such as using intimidation and hostility in an attempt to intimidate others into submission of their will. I ask that the Revdex.com investigate these allegations, along with the other 39 claims filed against this company, with the overall intention of dissolving this company for their illegal business practices.
