We will check it out customer is filling a complaint

we have contacted our insurance co about the claim and they require the following information to review the situationThey require all proof of receipts and payments to all contractors involved including our company, pictures past and present of all repaired damage and pictures of present repairs neededThey also require three separate estimates from licensed contractors for the repair work in detail to submit the claimThe claimant must mail this to our office and we will forward it to our G.Linsurance co at a meeting to review the facts of the complaint, or as I have stated before he can go threw his homeowners insuranceWe have never seen the interior of the house and will be glad to repair any stain on the ceiling from a single loose nail the had penetrated the flat roofWe cannot be responsible for sheathing nails or any existing plywood that was installed since the house was builtAlso upon researching this issue It has come to our attention that we have never received full payment for the work we completed over a year and a half ago

UPON INSPECTION OF THE ROOF WE NOTICED A NAIL FROM THE EXISTING PLYWOOD DECK UNDER THE ROOF HAD POPPED UP THREW THE ROOF DUE TO TEMPATURE CHANGES WITCH IS NOT UNCOMMONWE REMOVED THE NAIL AND SEALED THE HOLE AS REQUIRED NO FUTHER ACTION IS NEEDED .AS FAR AS ANY INTERIOR DAMAGE WE ARE NOT AWARE OF ANY AND ARE NOT REPONSIBLE FOR ITTHE ROOF INSTALLATION WAS DONE PROPERLY AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITIONTHE CUSTOMER COULD FILE A INTERIOR DAMAGE CLAIM WITH HIS HOME OWNERS INSURANCE CO AT THIS TIMEAS FAR AS WE KNOW THERE COULD HAVE BEEN PRIOR CEILING DAMAGE FROM THE SANY HURRICANE WHEN THE OLD ROOF WAS BLOW OFF DURING THE STORM AND THE CUSTOMER MAY HAVE NEVER FIXED IT.KEEP IN MINE THIS ROOF JOB WAS COMPLETED OVER A YEAR AGO.I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND HE DID NOT STATE THAT THERE WAS ANY INTERIOR DAMAGE THAT HE REQUIRED OUR COMPANY TO REPAIR.?

I am rejecting this response because: Please reopen complaint [redacted] as per 5/5/phone call Renken roofing stated roof was repaired and no further problems would be anticipatedThe roof is still leaking in the same place! I was told by a contractor that there would be further trouble so he wouldn't proceed with interior repairs until the roof was redone , properly this time I contacted consumer affairs they have no licence listing for this company If you call renkens number [redacted] *** they answer as renken roofing and construction LLCConsumer affairs also has no info on the insurance they reported to you (Revdex.com) they had " G.Linsurance co Are they unlicenced with no insurance?

I am rejecting this response because: 1. renken denied anything was wrong . 2. Their contract stated all nails would be sealed w a cement . 3. there is a 12 year guarantee . 4.All the sheet rock was repaired post sandy and I have invoices to prove it as well as pictures (before and after). 5. Renken first said they sent someone and nothing was wrong . Then after Revdex.com contact they came "again" and noticed a nail ? 6. They were absolutely notified of the interior damage and were emailed to that effect . Due to their denial then the alleged nail if I don't here from their insurance carrier within 10 days the matter will need to be settled by the courts !

I am rejecting this response because: Renken called stating a protruding nail was missed which caused leak , they now claimed to have rectified ? Why it was missed during original installation and inspection due to my initial complaint was...

not explained. The interior damage subsequent to the leak was not mentioned . Merely fixing a leak does not address the interior damage caused by it . I need contact with their insurance carrier to address this . If not court action will be forthcoming !

We will check it out customer is filling a false complaint.

UPON INSPECTION OF THE ROOF WE NOTICED A NAIL FROM THE EXISTING PLYWOOD DECK UNDER THE ROOF HAD POPPED UP THREW THE ROOF DUE TO TEMPATURE CHANGES WITCH IS NOT UNCOMMON. WE REMOVED THE NAIL AND SEALED THE HOLE AS REQUIRED NO FUTHER ACTION IS NEEDED .AS FAR AS ANY INTERIOR DAMAGE WE ARE NOT AWARE OF ANY AND ARE NOT REPONSIBLE FOR IT. THE ROOF INSTALLATION WAS DONE PROPERLY AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE CUSTOMER COULD FILE A INTERIOR DAMAGE CLAIM WITH HIS HOME OWNERS INSURANCE CO AT THIS TIME. AS FAR AS WE KNOW THERE COULD HAVE BEEN PRIOR CEILING DAMAGE FROM THE SANY HURRICANE WHEN THE OLD ROOF WAS BLOW OFF DURING THE STORM AND THE CUSTOMER MAY HAVE NEVER FIXED IT.KEEP IN MINE THIS ROOF JOB WAS COMPLETED OVER A YEAR AGO.I HAVE SPOKEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND HE DID NOT STATE THAT THERE WAS ANY INTERIOR DAMAGE THAT HE REQUIRED OUR COMPANY TO REPAIR.?

Review: Health issue is possible mold . Renken Roofing was contracted and paid to replace a flat roof . The roof is leaking causing damage to new sheet rock also repaired post sandy . The company was contacted and stated it was not from anything they did. There is no room above and no other way the water could access the interior!Desired Settlement: The roof will need to be fixed . The sheetrock will need to be removed and any water damage repaired . Sheetrock replaced , spackled , taped and straight run repainted .
