I owe them nothing and they are lying about a cousin doing any floor grading they kept saying they would not do the windows or floor without a Roof which is all crap, taylor left my job to do others because he took the money and spent it on tools and whatever to start a business he, as for the crooked footer yes it’s fixed above grade which on the inside is very noticeable he’s a liar and never came to put the windows in I was told when he gets a chance well maybe I should’ve paid when I had a chance, my garage is done and they are done as far as I’m concernedI don’t understand why he couldn’t and didn’t put windows in and fix his joints and the punch list that was agreed to like a few joints on the house and brink a vent, but that’s what happens when you deal with druggies and drunks.Sent from my iPhone

We have receieved your letter regarding a complaint from Mr. [redacted], I spoke with [redacted] ) yesterday in regards to this complaint and hadbeen instructed to write a letter of rebutal and or explanation for our company onthis matter.Yes we were Contracted to do a garage for this customer. I...

have read hiscomplaint and I am responding to his allegations. I will also included emails fromthis individual that contradict portions of his complaint as well as show this is abreach of contract situation.J.S.T[redacted]: As you can see on the contract there is no end date for this project.Mr. [redacted] and his girlfriend were informed the day of signing contract that itwould be completed in 2-3 weeks weather pending . I have included the weatherreport for the month of July 2017 to show there was an issue with weather.J.S.T[redacted]: Yes he did say that. Mr. [redacted] chose to opt out of the roofer wehad because he found one cheaper. Whom then didnt fullfill his obligation , Thatis when the trouble started.J.S.T[redacted] As you can see from several text messages from Mr. [redacted] hiscousin [redacted] was to do the grading. and did.J.S.T[redacted] : Yes, Mr [redacted] was grading his yard at the begining. It wasunderstood by all parties involved that Mr. [redacted]’s cousin [redacted] was doing allgrading needed.J.S.T[redacted] : We were paid in full for the walls and footer but still required thefunds for the floor. We had the walls up and ready for his roof. He was to call usonce the roof was done , so that we could arrange the floor to be done. Mr.[redacted] did not contact us for about 2 and a half weeks. We told him that theremaining balance owed was for the floor installation which included gravel, bobcat,( 14 ) yards of concrete and a concrete finisher as we do not do floors wesub contracted a finisher. The amounts left would cover all $ 4,454.48. Herefused to release said funds as you will see from text messages included . Hewent and hired another contractor to do the floor because we werent able to dropevery other job to rush and do his floor with out the funds. We informed him thatwe would have to squeeze him in during the week or weekend due to severalother jobs going on. Mr. [redacted] took it upon himself at that point. Then afterthe other company came in he wanted J.S. T[redacted] to do punch list items such aswindow placement, filling holes from scaffold. Mr. [redacted] breached thecontract when he had another company come in and do his floor. We did try to accomodate this customer and with his delays with his roof wehad other jobs to do and offered to get them in at one point but we wereinformed he( Mr. T[redacted]) no longer had access to the building . Mr. [redacted]did contact the office on September 14 for Mr. T[redacted] to do punch list items, butthe breach had already occured. Mr. T[redacted] never told Mr. [redacted] that hewould not finish the garage . Mr. [redacted] is now claiming that the garage iscrooked and 4” out of level , and that he had to cover his garage in stone to hidecracking joints etc. Mr. [redacted] had purchased a stone veneer to try and pullthe color of house and garage together because he didnt want to pay extra forthe colored block he origanaly picked out. From the text messages included you will also see that Mr. [redacted] had beentrying to get us to give him a fake proposal so he could turn that in for hisbuilding permits which we had asked to see and make copy of for our recordsand he has never produced one.Mr. [redacted] is not a honest person and fromthis past experience not someone we will ever do business with or recommendanyone else.It must be said that Mr. [redacted] is not whom signed contracts as he was nothome and that his girlfriend is the one who signed all contracts and paid the ( 2)installments for work .1 have personally spoken with her and you will see in textsthat both parties knew there would be installments as the work progressed to payfor materials and labor.J.S.T[redacted] Desired Settelment: The remaining balance and any fees incured toobtain the monies still owed due to breach of contract..Thank You,Lisa T[redacted]Office ManageJ.S.T[redacted] Masonry
