Review: I dropped my car off the first week of January 2013. After my car was looked at I was told it would take $740.00 dollars to fix which I agreed to. A month later I was told it will take $860.00 to fix which I agreed to. Two weeks later I was advised that it will take $1390.00 to fix and I have to pay $1000 to have the work continue. At that point I asked what was being done that has changed the price so much. I was given a quote that reflected what was done, the quote stated 4 different jobs involving the radiator which I questioned and was told this is what he had to do. I stated that this is the same job and was given no answer. A month later I am being told the final bill will be an additional $1063.01 which I was texted a copy of the quote. I went and test drove the car the same day I received the quote of the additional payment request. After test driving my car I advised [redacted] that the car still was not running correctly. My car still had 2 of the same issues as when he received my vehicle with the only difference being my car would stay running. My car was also shaking and smoking. Two days later he called me and said it would need two flushes and premium fuel which I said he does not have to purchase and I will. He did a diagnostic test that he charged me $250.00 for and the Audi Dealer is charging $115.00 for the same test on the motor. He is charging labor for each part even though integral to fixing said part. Several times I was told that he does not want to continue to work on my car due to our conversations of me questioning prices of parts & labor which I feel has nothing to do with proper conduct of business. He has also advised that he will not provide me with receipts of proof of purchases of parts which he has included on the invoices he has shown me. At this point I have already paid him $1000 for services rendered prior to even receiving my car yet my car is still not running after 4 months & now being charged additional $1063.01 in fees.Desired Settlement: I would like to take the car to the Audi dealer to have the car inspected to confirm for labor & parts [redacted] states he has done, or not done but already charged me as services rendered. Have my car repaired by the Audi dealer and have the difference paid by JU Auto body. Reason for this request is: I do not feel comfortable as paying consumer with his work, nor his work ethic,the fact that he told me I will not get proof of parts and seeing invoice of same job charged multiple times.
