This is a follow-up to a complaint I filed on or about 12/15/14, which I cannot find. The company sent me a second parcel, yet it arrived on the 3rd day of Hannukah. I have not opened the parcel, waiting for them to contact me about a return. By the time I received the goods, they were...

useless to me. As I had purchased Hannukah candles to give to my daughters, I needed to buy other boxes of candles for them and express ship them to get there in time for the holiday. Shlomo from Judaism.com emailed me yesterday and we spoke today. I informed him that if he issued a call tag, that I would return the goods he sent which I had Visa block payment for. Visa has credited me with the amount in dispute. He said I should keep the goods and he would send me a gift certificate for my troubles. I will donate the candles and anything else he sends to my synagogue for use next year by people who need them. I consider the matter closed.            I consider the matter closed at this time.

Review: This complaint is not only a delivery issue, but a billing issue and a customer service issue. I placed an order for a gift on December 8, 2014. I ordered 2 dreidels from the website to be delivered for a Hanukkah gift. I received a shipping notice that the order shipped and when I got the box it was empty and stuffed with newspaper. The invoice had showed that I ordered 2 items, that 1 one shipped and billed and all I got was an empty box. I called the sender multiple times and only got voicemail. Left numerous messages and never receive 1 call back.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for my entire purchase or for the items to arrive prior to the last night of Hanukkah, December 23. I am very upset with the entire process and fell I was scammed out of my money by being sent an empty box.

Review: On 8/28/2015 I bought a book from judaism.com it has been six weeks since I made the purchase and I have yet to receive what I bought. I spent $28 which included the Shipping. It should have been at my door within a week! Maybe two weeks tops! After three weeks of waiting? I decided to email them. I emailed them four times with no response! Yesterday 10/8/2015 I spoke with a man there that was extremely rude! By rude I mean that as I was speaking to him expressing the lack of courtesy in emailing me back or calling me about my order? He felt it was ok to cut me off! He then got very defensive and stated the book was in back order. I asked then why was I not told through email? Why after six weeks I have to call your business only to find this out? This guy kept telling me I needed to be PATIENT!.......I told him at this point I did not care about the product I just want my money back! He rushed me off the phone by telling me someone would email me the same day about the status of the back order. Nothing happened and I received no email! Today 10/9/15 I call again and its the same guy. He immediately tried to rush me off the phone and I demanded to speak with someone that can process a refund. This man hung up on me when I called back? No one answer! This is very unprofessional and extremely rude! I will never do business with these clowns again! I will also make it a point to go on social media and completely taint this business reputation!Desired Settlement: I just want my money back!

Review: I bought a set of books off of judiasm.com for a class that I was taking. They were the wrong set of books, and when I emailed them to return them, I never got a reply. I then emailed the address that sent me a confirmation when I purchased the books, and never heard from them either. They say that they do not accept any "unapproved returns," but do not answer emails to allow me to return the books. This is dishonest and is cheating someone out of their money. I will never purchase anything through this website again.Desired Settlement: I want to return the books and get my money back, plus whatever shipping costs I will incur.

Review: On 12/5 I placed an order for 3 boxes of Chanukah candles, 1 package of dreidels and 1 box of milk chocolate gelt. On 12/10 I received a package with 1 box of candles and 1 box of bittersweet chocolate gelt. I tried calling the phone number on the packing slip 12/10, 12/11 and 12/12 but there has been no answer and the voice mail box is full. I sent an email on 12/10 and again on 12/12 without a response.I have requested Visa to withhold payment for the goods not received.Desired Settlement: I would like them not to contest the disputed fee they would receive from Visa.

Review: I placed an order on 8/30/14 for items totaling under $14.00, used my credit card. I have not received the items and have attempted to contact the business several times by email with no reply. When I called the telphone number today, it just rings through with not even an answering machine. Very suspicous.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to refund the amount of my order: $13.68
