*** ** contacted this office to resolve an open permit on an apartment she owned in Manhattan at ** *** *** We informed *** ** that a research of the NYC Department of Buildings records would have to be performed to find the plans since she did not have themOnce they were found we needed
to compare them to the apartment to see if they matchedWe informed *** ** that we would charge our customary hourly rates to perform the research of the plans and inspection of the apartment*** ** agreed to this and arranged for her Real Estate Agent to let me into the apartment after I had obtained the plans from the DOBI informed *** ** after the inspection that indeed the plans did not match the conditions at the apartment and adjustments to the plans and apartment would have to be made to comply with NYC Building CodesUpon hearing this and receiving my bill for agreed upon services *** ** ceased to call us back, respond to emails, or requests for payment. Thank YouManagement

The business responded to have informed me of any charges associated with my inquiryI did not receive any sort of information orally nor in writingAgain, my initial call was an inquiry to get a price quote on how much the job would costOnce the quote was out of my price range, nor competitive with others on the market, I decided to not go forward with this business

[redacted] just doesn't want to pay a bill she incurred.  She has not been truthful in her explanation of the facts.  I would have never started work without a verbal agreement for compensation on this or any project.  Once I told her that she had illegal conditions in her apartment she stopped responding to any of our requests for payment or communication.  She is just looking for me to just write off the bill that she incurred.

Please use your words carefully. An open permit in an apartment does not mean illegal.  I was expecting professionalism from this business as it was recommended through a real estate agent. Again, no other businesses has given me a quote by also asking me to pay. 
The business seems to go back and forth with me at this point and maintains a "he said, she said" attitude. How would Revdex.com solve issues like this? My goal was not to have this business contact me again. But it's been two more messages.
