Review: Customer Service Issues and Delivery Issues.
We made a request through the Revdex.com to have concrete contractors contact us for a job we wanted completed. JW Rudolph came to our house, gave us an excellent quote, we signed the agreement April 9, 2015 and was told it will be about 2-4 weeks before the work would be started. April 28th my husband sent an email inquiring about timeline and estimated start time. June 2nd we received a response stating 2-4 weeks. I called Mr. Rudolph just before the 4th of July and left a message requesting a call back with no response. I then emailed him on July 14th requesting to know a start date again with no response.Desired Settlement: Contact by owner and available for discussion regarding work requested.

Response:
Dear [redacted], Please forgive us as I just received your complaint today.I spoke with [redacted] and he said that he did email you back and explained the difficult time we are having recruiting help. At that time [redacted] mentioned that he would probably not be able to get to your job butdid refer you to another company giving you the owners name. No money has ever been exchanged. [redacted] will follow up with a phone call by the end of the week.Respectfully,[redacted]

Response:
Company states that the issue was resolved. The consumer advised that they had gone with another contractor and consider the matter dropped.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I did also inform the Revdex.com on 8/25/2015 via email that I have gone with another contractor and will no longer be in contact with the company. I also hope that this impacts his rating; as I do not feel this company demonstrates A ratings.
Regards,
Review: Last year I had an estimate done by Mr. R[redacted] on April 19,2014 to replace my front 3 steps by the sidewalk. I signed and sent back the paperwork on May 22, 2014 accepting it. He called and said he could do it the end of May 2014 or beginning of June 2014. July came and went still nothing.....August came and went still nothing. My wife continued to call and ask if it would be done by winter he stated not to worry he was a man of his word. September came and my wife called again stating if he would not get the work done to PLEASE let us know so we could get someone else he again gave his word. I trusted him but he never came winter was her and concrete could not be done. My steps remain not done. I will have to start the search again to find a reputable company. No money changed hands but I assumed when you had a written agreement the company would do the job.Desired Settlement: I would like the work completed per our agreement.
