Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting...
this response because:The $644 [redacted] hotel front desk staff employees requested was readily available in both cash and credit. The front staff employees did charge the credit card the correct amount and I provided clear instructions on the amount to charge credit card with the difference in cash. The front staff desk employees tried to charge the credit card an amount I did not authorize and conveniently used that as an excuse to not honor a confirmed and guaranteed hotel reservation ([redacted]).
At no point in time did I become confrontational nor hostile. Presently, IT hurts when I speak (communicate via pen and **per) and I am not in a position to ever be negative. The [redacted] hotel employees only called the cops after I informed them of informed them I am calling the Police rather than have them have ME, [redacted], homeless. In fact, the cops who showed up were INAPPROPRIATE, used unnecessary vulgar language and excessive force considering the circumstances ( please review the video footage within the hotel). Subdequently, those same cops tried to hide their identity when I requested their names and badge number.
THE BIGGER PICTURE is this hotel establishment does not abide by its very own policies, and staff employees are inept in Quality Customer Satisfaction, understanding complimentary shuttle services, and they lack the insight to deliver quality service that includes HONORING A CONFIRMED AND GUARANTEED RESERVATION. Teach them The Importance of Mastering those Skills enabling Effective Customer Service.Sincerely and Respectfully,
[redacted]

Review: On May 14, 2013, while staying at the Latham Hotel I called the front desk to order from the restaurant. I requested the ( NY stake well cooked) when the plate arrived the stake was bleeding and not prepared as asked I had cut the stake in various locations to make sure it wasn’t just a portion of the stake prepared like that. The entire stake was gored. When I called to have it prepared correctly. The same stake was brought back to me. I was told there would be no charge.
When I call the front desk I was placed on hold by [redacted].
On May 15, 2013, I ordered the Chocolate Cake. That cake was brought to me with ice-cream on top and looked like dog sloop. The plate was not arranged at all.
I called down for the manager to come up a lady name [redacted] came up and I showed her the plate and she laughed. I found her unconcern and unprofessional.
This was not my first stay at The Latham Hotel. My at the Latham Hotel is for business. It is the Hotel choice for two of the major law firms in Philadelphia that I am contracted to work with. I am reporting the actions to those firms as well.
One more thing. There is the strongest smell of a gas leak in that hotel. When guest report it the hotel does nothing about itDesired Settlement: A letter of apology, billing adjusted for those two day and a investigation into the health practices of The Latham Hotel.
