Review: On April1, 2015, I hired [redacted] of L&B Appliance to repair my washing machine. At that time, I also wrote and gave him a check for $100.00 to cover parts and labor. After several weeks of calling, many of my calls were not returned. When I finally connected with [redacted], the date of repair was continually pushed back due to what he told me were health issues.On April 27, 2015, the day the repairs were to be done, he told me there was a problem with shipping one of the parts. I then suggested that I get the parts and have another person install them. He refused saying he didn't trust anyone else to do the job right and would be at my house the following morning at 9:30 a.m. Again, a no show.The last time I talked with [redacted], I told him I needed my check back and his response was that "he didn't like me, I hated men, and would get the check back but would have to sign for it! Clearly, this person is not fit to be in business or deal with the public. I gave him until May 8, 2015 to return the check or else I would bring the matter to small claims court.Desired Settlement: I want my $100.00 back by May 8, 2015
