I contacted the MAA communities on 7/6/20 about the *** gas and electrical services auditing my apartment. They found numerous issues that contributed to my expensive electrical bill. They wanted to fix the issues free of charge to myself and the MAA communities. The *** wanted a consent form signed that states they would not charge me for the service *** is doing for free. I have been trying to get the MAA communities to sign form since 7/8. I have been given the story that the manager is not in, she was busy not able to review from, the manager wanted to contact *** no resolution, I stopped in the office several times then I was told that the executive *** was on vacation and needed her approval. Then when she returned they didn't want to bother her the day of her return. I finally obtain *** phone number and I called her and she wanted to talk to the *** company about work because they needed legal to review consent form they need to sign. I contacted *** and only one person handles these calls said she never received a call from ***. I had *** to call her and they talked to her and *** sent the work order on needs that is needed and *** still has not responded back as of today it has been almost 1 month trying to get them to sign this form so *** and can fix the issues in apartment to reduce my electrical bill. Everyday I don't get this form signed my bills is going up and if someone is at MAA is not available or on vacation they are not helping with my bill or fixing my services. They are playing a political game which I am very upset and they know it. They gave me a 50.00 credit on my rent for the inconvenience which does not help if my bill is 200-300 a month and the rent is 1000.00 it does not help at all.
Good morning,We were recently notified of Complaint *** regarding Stonemill Village Apartments. We were able to get clearance from our legal team earlier this week to sign off on the scope of work and consent form provided to us by our resident. A signed copy has been provided to the resident. We believe this complaint has been resolved. It does take time for legal contracts and forms to be reviewed, especially when it is the first time we have been approached about participating in a program like this, and I do apologize for the delay in getting this form completed.Thank you,***MAA | North Division______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Per instructions sent along with notification of complaint from your office, we opted to respond via Option 4-whereby we communicate with the customer and copy you on the response. Please see below and referenced attachments that were sent to *** in regards to Complaint # ***.The Consent for has been approved, signed and emailed to *** on 8/12/20 and we issued a credit of $50.00 that was applied to his August rent charges.Thank you.Have a great weekend!
