Review: We contacted the company three times to resolve this matter with no response. We ordered 10 dolls from this company by e-mail. They indicated that the cost for freight/mailing would be $68.00. We responded that this amount seemed high and asked them to adjust the cost. We mailed them a check for the dolls plus $68.00 for shipping cost. When we received the dolls the invoice showed a billing for $29.07 for freight/insurance. We responded that we were owed $38.93. The difference between the $68.00 for shipping we paid and the cost on the invoice of $29.07.Desired Settlement: A refund of $38.03 and an apology! We are a low budget not for profit organization that is funded by donations.

Review: I placed an order on 12/**/15 for 2 dolls for christmas for my daughters. I started contacting Madame Alexander customer service on 12/** because it hadn't shipped yet. From that point until 12/**, I contacted them by phone and email multiple times (more than 5). Finally on 12/**, I received a shipping confirmation via email and noted that they expedited shipping to arrive before christmas (guaranteed by [redacted]). Unfortunately, it didn't arrive until the day after christmas. This was very disappointing to my 2 little girls. To make matters worse, when I opened the box, I realized that although they charged my [redacted] for both dolls, they only sent one. After several more calls and emails, they informed me that the one doll had been oversold and issued a refund on 12/**/15 (doll only, not shipping/handling fees) to my [redacted] for the sale price of one doll, $33. Since then, after many more emails, they have offered me a 20% off coupon on my next purchase. Of course, since the doll is available at full price now, the 20% off + shipping fees will mean I end up paying more for the doll than I did on 12/**/15. Madame Alexander customer service has been slow, inept and indifferent for almost a month.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation as to what happened to my original order and would like an acknowledgment of wrong doing on their part. I would also like to have one of the dolls I ordered sent for free to my daughter since she did not get hers on christmas.
