Madison & Hill Lending Firm

Review: I was contacted by [redacted] with Madison & Hill Lending Firm and was told that I qualified for a Secured Loan of $3,000. I had 3 options on securing that loan 1) have a cosigner with above a 750 credit rating, 2)send $450 to secure the loan via transfer 3) get insurance on the amount of the loan for $1000. I reviewed the contract that was sent via email and had 2 other individual review it for protection, it appeared legitimate so I signed and proceeded. I took a payday loan out for the initial $450 payment to secure my loan. I was told I had to wire the money to a third party in British Columbia, Canada. I was told the $40 transfer fee would be refundable upon disbursement of my loan. Ms. [redacted] called and said that the third loaning party reviewed my credit and said there were discrepancies and needed an additional $450 + $40 transfer fee to secure loan. I once again did what they said because I was desperate for this loan as I had missed work and had vehicle repairs that occurred all at the dame time and was going to be able to pay my mortgage. This $3000 loan would have helped my family get our heads above water. After I called in my second payment I was then told by [redacted] that the disbursement department required insurance on my loan of $1000. I was told a had 3 days to come up with the money. I work for an attorney and he reviewed my situation. He said to email a letter and cc him stating I want to cancel this transaction and get a full refund. I sent the email off. [redacted] said she never received it and that I would have to call ###-###-#### and let them know I am cancelling contract. I did this and was told that I would have to wait 30 business day and to call back June 6, 2014 for status. I called back June 6th and was told to call Monday June 9, 2014 for disbursement info. I called on June 9th and was told I would have to pay $390 for the Refund department to release those funds. I went to the Westminster City Police Department & filed a report.Desired Settlement: I would like to have help getting my money back, I was in need and they took advantage of someone already down. I definitely want everyone to know how manipulative and awful these people are and hopefully by reporting this someone else won't have to loose as much as I did. I am also hopeful that there would be some way of tracking these people who set up this fraudulent company so that won't be able to set up a new company and hurt others.

Attached is the documents that I have received from Madison & Hill Lending, copies of the receipts for my payments, emails, and the police report. The number and email that I reached them at prior to this fraudulent company was working prior to my police report being filed. It is my understanding that this company either vacated the address or weren't ever actually located at the address listed on their paperwork. I look forward to hearing positive news from you shortly. I appreciate your timely help with this matter.
