Review: I booked a hall on 12/*/12 for a wedding event on 8/**/2013 at this location, I paid a deposit of $500. I cancelled my date two weeks after, I faxes over the request and called to confirmed it my cancellation. They told me the only way I will get my refund is if when the Hall is booked for that date. I called on Monday 7/**/13 and talked to an event planner and he told me the place has been book but he can't refund the money but I need to talk to [redacted]. After talking to [redacted] he told me all the rooms has been booked except mine and that the place is still booked under my name and they didn't even cancel my appointment. I have not been treated fairly and they is no way of knowing the fact.Desired Settlement: I need a full refund since my date wasn't cancelled like it was suppose to to enable them to re book the room.

December *, 2012 a contract was signed by [redacted] the fiance of [redacted] to have their wedding on Saturday, August **, 2013. She left a $500

deposit paid by credit card. Our contract clearly reads "After contract

has been signed -No money will be refunded". On February **, 2013 [redacted] called to cancel because he wanted to have the wedding in Africa. At

that time he was told that there would be no refund, but as a courtesy, if we

were able to rebook the room we would return his deposit. We also told him

that he would have to put his request to cancel in writing since he was out

of state and could not come in person. He said he would fax it, which he did

that day.

[redacted] claims to have called on July **, 2013 and spoke to an event

planner which we have no record of. When he called on July **, 2013 and spoke

to [redacted] he was never told that his contract was not cancelled, but was told

that the room is still not booked, which is the truth as of today. [redacted]

is welcome to come here on Saturday, August **, 2013 at 1:00pm to see that

his room and two other rooms have not been booked.
