Magic Wand Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

Review: I contracted Magic Wand to clean my carpets on October **, 2013. [redacted] said he would come on Saturday, November *, 2013, appx. 12 noon.

On that day [redacted] showed up with his son [redacted] to assist him. He requested a cash payment of $300 which I gave him. A couple hours after job was completed and rugs were drying, I started to notice a large circular stain on the carpet in my family room. That stain was not previously on my carpet.; and no one was allowed in that room after [redacted] left, including my dog; we had gated the entrances.

On Monday, November [redacted] I called Magic Wand to report I had a problem. His wife answered phone and assured me he would call me back. He never did. On Wednesday, November [redacted] I called again and this time the answering machine picked up and I left a message. My request for [redacted] to call me back never happened.

My husband then tried to reach out to [redacted] on Monday, November [redacted] and called from another phone number. This time [redacted] answered and told my husband he would try to comeback on the weekend and would call back to confirm. Which he never did! Again when my husband spoke to [redacted] he was told, " I will try to comeback on Saturday 11/** and will call back to confirm. Again he never called to confirm! On Wednesday, November [redacted], I called [redacted]'s cell phone and he picked up. When I inquired what time he was coming on Saturday, he responding that he was not coming! I expressed my disappointment and concerns at this lack to respond to my complaint. I was also disappointed because now Thanksgiving was around the corner with my carpet having this terrible stain! I also said I didnt like that he was giving me a run around, I thought he would stand behind the work he did.

He told me to call someone else to clean my rug. That it wasn't worth his time to come back to [redacted] because he's doing work in [redacted] and [redacted]. That in his 20 years of cleaning rugs, this is the first time anyone has called him back regarding stains. And then he told me it was my fault and that I had neglected my rugs and what he had done was a restoration! Then he hung up on me!

This is not true my rugs are regularly cleaned every 12-18 months!Desired Settlement: I want my carpet cleaned properly! I want the stains removed!

And this problem has not been resolved!
