Item purchased- delivery refused due to damaged item. Item delivered to seller 6-22-16 Priority Mail. Still no refund and seller won't respond.Auction ended 5-13-16. Paid $625 by bank cashiers check [redacted] made payable to MAIN STREET PAWN on 5-17-16 sent by regular mail. Contact is owner [redacted]. Purchase for auction item [redacted]. Item delivered to[redacted]. The damaged item returned by Priority mail and delivered to Seller 6-22-16 @ 11:19 am. Tried emails and phone multiple time several days in a row and no response.Desired SettlementI purchased from Daniel on an online auction. The item was not packaged well and this collectable item was damaged upon delivery to a store in ** to handle the transaction. The local store saw the damage while opening the package in front of me and suggested I refuse delivery.The seller was called while I was there and he told the store manager to return the item and he would refund my money. The seller also sent me an email to say he would issue a full refund upon receipt of the returned damaged item. Priority Mail tracking number shows it was delivered on 6-22-16. This seller will not answer his business phone number or return my emails after at least a dozen attempts. He now has the ITEM AND my money and is not keeping his verbal and written promise to send my money back. It has now been over 60 days since the initial transaction online and over 14 days since he received the item.Final Consumer Response The store owner, Daniel is now responding to my emails. He said he has been on a 2 week vacation and not seeing any emails while away. He said he is sending the refund and just emailed to ask me for my mailing address again so it sounds like he is trying now. Can we cancel this complaint?
