On APRIL 12 we mailed a $ 500 cheque to [redacted] that represented what we thought was
adequate compensation for $ 750 given to us by [redacted] as deposit and progress on work done. We had...
placed a substantial plant order, visited [redacted] on numerous occasions and changed the contract multiple
times. On one occasion we refused payment as the requests we felt could not be met. Eventually all of
[redacted]'s requests were agreed upon.
[redacted] is incorrect on the details of what was described in the two amounts listed. We will in the future
reconsider breaking down a quote. We intended this as an explanation to the client on how a fixed sum
is arrived at. This was not intended as a choice to save money. It is unacceptable for us to plant and
warrant plants when the quality of top soil, depth of top soil in plant areas and grading is done by
others. The details of what had to be done are described on the contract that we will submit along with
email exchanges.
We appreciate the opportunity to defend our actions and prevent any slander that [redacted] be done by
other means.

Geneva Gardens is claiming they kept $250 of my $750 deposit as " progress on work done". To date there has been NO work done. They claim this money was used to place a "substantial plant order". If this is the case, I would like the plants in lieu of the money but I don't believe you can purchase a substantial amount of plants for that amount of money. Geneva Gardens visited my place one time for approximately 10 minutes in February whereas I gave them my plant list & garden design that I personally drew out. They have NEVER refused payment from me as claimed, but have been rather insistent on a deposit from the 1st visit in February. I delayed payment as there was no work to be done until mid May or June. I 100% disagree with the false statements made by Geneva Gardens & would appreciate my additional refund of $250. As I stated numerous times, they cancelled the work on me & nothing has been done to date at all. [redacted]
