Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not accept it because the business is unwilling to accept responsibility and is making excuses for a complete lack of customer care and significantly delayed delivery of product With regards to the response that was provided Yes, the form was not turned in at the time the pictures were taken and the order was late That is not in dispute The form was not turned in at the time the pictures were taken because the form was not supplied at that time (for reasons unknown to me) It was months later before I realized we never had been given forms At that point, I contacted the photographer and requested a form (instead of going through the baseball coach) She emailed the form in December I completed the form, included my check and $cash for shipping, as instructed, and mailed to her in February In April 2016, I emailed to inquire about the status of my order The photographer answered in a timely fashion and stated that she was waiting on another group and would include my order with that order, but that my order would be processed that week (the week of 4/no indication that there was an issue) In May, I saw on my bank statement that the photographer had cashed my check So, I figured my pictures were forthcoming In August 2016, I still had not received pictures and emailed to inquire as to the status The photographer indicated that she needed my address and would mail immediately upon receiving same 98/22) I emailed my address on 8/ No pictures arrived I emailed on 9/21/and 10/21/16, inquiring about my pictures There was no response to those emails On 11/12/16, I posted the following comment on her business Facebook page ""Hi I was wondering if you could contact me with a status update on my son's baseball pictures I'm not sure if your email address is workin, but my last several emails have gone unanswered, so, thought I'd try FB Look forward to hearing from youThanks." This message was not responded to, and, in fact, was removed from the FB page I emailed requests for my pictures to be delivered on 11/29/16, 12/6/16, and 12/14/ The photographer did not respond to any I am sorry for the passing of loved ones in the photographer's family; however, those passings did not affect her ability to make, at a minimum, weekly FB postings...many daily and multiple times daily...on the business FB page to obtain business and/or post peaks of recent photo shoots Also in the time period, she was able to open a standalone studio, as opposed to working from her home I feel that the truth of the matter is that my order was only worth $ I was "small potatoes" whom was easy to ignore As far as not having a contract regarding delivery I think under any standard, consumers have a reasonable expectation to receive an order less than months after the order was place, and, certainly within months of a check being cashed Let alone, the emails promising delivery in April AND in August To imply that because there was no "contract" on delivery that what happened here is acceptable is, quite frankly, ludicrous Furthermore, if the intent of hand delivering the pictures to my home and apologizing was valid, it wouldn't have occurred during working hours, when I was not even home AND, if that was the intent and I was found to not be at home, and a true offer of apologies was meant, the photographer had my phone number, email AND Facebook information in which to offer those sincere wishes Regarding my request for a refund of fees and shipping Of course, the check was used to pay the lab and shipping from the company However, refunds are usually paid out of business funds when a customer has been treated in a substandard way and orders/contracts not completed within a reasonable manner or time frame A request for a full refund of product cost and shipping is entirely valid in this instance Yes, I understand it is only $37, but, the behavior of this business (both in delivery of initial order and customer service after failure to complete the contract) has been so egregious that I feel it is warranted I was MORE than patient, because I understood that it was a late order that was out of the norm Even with my severe disappointment, I conducted myself in a professional, polite manner on the FB page, so as not to affect other potential customers None of these things was appreciated or acknowledged Just taken advantage of and ignored As I've stated before, I have NEVER been treated so horribly by any business, anywhere I certainly wouldn't have expected it from a small town, local business where word of mouth means a lot and the customer base is more limited than in a more populated area; thus, making (in theory, apparently) customer relations and satisfaction of paramount importance
Regards,
*** ***

The customer did not have a form turned in at the time of the team pictures being taken. It was just not in my normal queue because it was late. I ordered the customer's pictures during another order, then had them ready to go to the post office. However, each time I went to the post office, I just...

forgot they were above my visor until the customer emailed again. My grandmother had passed and we were cleaning out her house, and my mother in law recently passed unexpectedly, and we were dealing with that, and then cleaning out her house, and the envelope just got shuffled into the garage without me knowing. I found it cleaning everything out. I hadn't opened any emails from this company because Revdex.com was not a customer, and I must have just thought it was spam. When I found the pics in the garage, I thought, "Oh, I have to do this right now before I forget again!" I got in the car and drove them over right away. I knocked on the door to explain and apologize in person, but [redacted] was not home, so I just left them on the porch thinking it would be a nice thing to come home to. I actually didn't have a contract or anything that said a timeline of delivery for makeup pictures, and the money was spent on the pictures from the printing lab and shipping from the company, but I will gladly drop of the $2 since I hand-delivered them. I didn't mean to not respond to emails, it was just a very busy time. I'm very sorry. When I got the letter on 1/11/07, I realized there was a concern, and looked through my email to find the emails and respond.
