Scam
Biggest scam ever advertised 49.99
It isn't even Mark Patrick. They sell you supplements for 399.99 that they make you believe helps. When you realize it's part of a pyramid scheme. They tell you send back unused unopened pills and they will refund within 30 days (probably sell them to someone else for another 399.99. Here it is 2 months since the received them back and they won't even answer emails. Biggest scam ever!

Very disappointed! I felt as if Id been duped into a live version of an infomercial for vitamins! I went into it with high hopes of becoming a nonsmoker. I left feeling like Id just been scammed! The presenter was off putting from the start. Way to much emphasis was put on the vitamins he claimed he wasnt pushing. The break we took was specified for buying the vitamins. And should you have had a question regarding anything presented, too bad, you couldnt ask any. By the time the "hypnosis" portion began I was personally annoyed by what took place in the first half! The "hypnosis" felt like nothing more than play acting than anything substancial had happened. Left feeling let down, duped, annoyed and frustrated that I paid $50 for nothing!

It really won’t work when it’s a Mark Patrick seminar and the Guy conducting it Isn’t Mark Patrick-yet some Filthy Talking man with a thick Jersey Accent who only seems to Discuss his coke addiction-And his voice was Terrible-accent or not-he rushes through the hypnosis after spending over an hour selling Vitamins-SCAM! Mark Patrick should be ashamed to send someone like this in his place! Hypnosis can work when a person really cares more about helping people than Scamming them!

I Don’t need a Refund-you need to Get your Priorities Straight!

My wife and I went to the Mark Patrick seminar in Pooler, Ga. to quit smoking a year ago. It didn’t work. I went back six months ago in Bluffton, SC., it didn’t work. I was told then if I ever needed reinforcement I would be welcome to attend any future seminars. This past weekend my wife and I decided to give it one more try and went to Bluffton, SC. The person conducting the seminar was a real jerk. He demanded that we pay again, when I objected he told us to leave. My wife and I left along with a paying customer that was with us. Since then I have done a little investigating and found out some things of interest.
1. These people have no resale license. Not state, not county, and not city. So much for reputable.
2. The supplements they sell are not even FDA approved.
3. The product label states the product is not designed to treat anything (Snake Oil).
4. The method used is called NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) designed and developed for one on one sessions and not group application. Possibly this explains the low success rate.
My advice would be to find an actual professional licensed physiologist who does this kind of thing.

Review: This was a complete scam and should not be allowed to continue as a professional business. They promised all kinds of things that would take place afterwards and how well the products worked for weight loss. They can afford to charge $49.99 for each person to attend a seminar because they then pressure everyone into buying products that they offer for weight loss for $399 for each person so it cost my wife and I almost $900 with no results. I spoke with other individuals that have taken the seminar with the same results after the fact. Anyways, they also stated that if you do not have the funding available to pay full price for their products offered that they would work with them and help them out (lower price) which is discriminating as far as I am concerned. They are taking advantage of people that are over weight and bank on them doing anything to reduce their weight. Please investigate this company immediately to stop them from taking advantage of vulnerable individuals like us.Desired Settlement: Complete refund for all services and products due to misrepresentation of results.

Review: I attended a weight loss seminar, the presenter was crude and the seminar was not what it promised. I emailed the company on 7/15/15 was told I was could get a refund. I was told to send my original seminar booklet along with my name and address. I did that. I have been in contact with them almost weekly and it seems they have no record of receiving my stuff. I have been told in each email that they are working on my claim, but no one will give me confirmation that it is being processed and a check is being cut.

the most recent request # assigned to my claim is [redacted]Desired Settlement: The seminar was posted at $49.99, I paid $50 cash. I want $50 returned to me.

Response:

[redacted] was issued a refund. We never received any refund request paperwork from her so we could not process it. It has been resolved.

I got exactly nothing from the 50.00 seminar I attended. He was more worried about selling his " health" products. I left there feeling the same way I went in. I do believe the hypnosis itself worked but the message did NOT!!! He guarantees results that just didn't happen. Very upset!! Complete SCAM!!!!

Review: Last night I attended a weight loss seminar located in Concord NH by [redacted] seminars located at the Grappone Center. I arrived two minutes after the start and therefore was told by the presenter to see him during the intermission to pay the 49.95 attendee fee. I had my debit card with me. During the intermission, I was the first person to the table and he said sign this, I thought it was the attendee registration form, it was not it was an order for pills. and he swiped my card in a moments notice and gave me a purchase authorization to sign for 399.- I immediately said, absolutely not, he grabbed my card and swiped my card again, this time for 199! I said what are you doing, and he handed me a plastic bag of pills. I said no! I just am paying the 49.95 registration fee. He said the form was at the other end of the table, so I filled that out... by now he had two forms with my signature. He spoke fast and rhythmic, in a determined authoritative manner. I felt manipulated. I did sign the registration fee and brought it back to him, to which he swiped my card a third time! I stood there and said I don't want this bag of pills! You keep swiping my card and you need to fix this now. He said, Its okay babe, calm down. I waited as he continued to wait on other people and made me stand there like an it. I continued to wait and then he reached down grabbed the original bag of pills that he had handed me and gave them to another purchasing client. I was relieved thinking he had sold them and I was off the hook and just waiting for my proof of refund. He finally provided the refund, as it turns out it was for only the 199 that he had swiped. So, the 399 swipe was NOT refunded! He assured me it was all set. I left got home and checked my on line account to find out he had debited my account by 399 (unauthorized) 199 (unauthorized) (I have a refund receipt which should eventually be put back in my account and for the 49.95 which was accurate.Desired Settlement: I want a stop on any future purchase authorizations that [redacted] Seminars may try to bill me for. I want reimbursement for the unauthorized transaction in the amount of $399.-, and I am anticipating the $199.- will be both refunded, and that no further or subsequent authorizations be awarded to this business from my account. I am disgusted and dismayed, and am concerned that they will attempt to bill for another 199.- in the future. I have called my bank to discontinue my current debit card number in hopes that will prevent a future issue. I want an apology and my money refunded. And, let me reiterate I didn't even leave with one bottle of his "pills" he was selling! FRAUD!!

Response:

We have been in contact with this customer and there was some confusion on charges but they were corrected the night of the seminar. We believe this has been resolved as we advised customer to wait a few days to make sure everything showed up reversed and not charges were applied as we do not see any charges on our end. If they showed up still she was advised to call us back and we have not heard anything. If there is a mistake we will absolutely reverse the charge.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received confirmation from TD bank that the charges were reversed. I will stop by the bank tomorrow and confirm if the charges have been reversed. I am rejecting this response until I have that confirmation. I have spent hours and hours trying to resolve this situation.

Review: I ordered vitamin supplements from [redacted], DBA [redacted], on Oct. 2 in the amount of $279.99. I had not received the items so I filed a claim with [redacted] which was my method of payment. Mr. [redacted] responded that he did not have the supplements on hand and was waiting for them. He would ship as soon as he received them but only if I dropped the [redacted] claim against him first. I refused and demanded my money back on 10/14/14. He responded this morning via email that he had shipped the items anyway and that I could just refuse or send them back and then get a refund. This is not what I instructed Mr. [redacted] to do. I will not be bothered with refusing the itmes and brining them anywhere to ship back, then waiting who knows how long for a refund. I instructed him to cancel the order and refund my money prior to his shipping the items.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund ASAP and do not want the supplements any longer.

Response:

The customer ordered product online and it was back ordered. We were in contact with them during process. Customer used [redacted] and disputed charge rather then asking for refund. during that process we were still in contact with them. we mistaken shipped out backordered product and customer did not want. We offered to refund customer money after [redacted] dispute was over and told customer to keep products if they wished. At this point we have issued refund and to our best knowledge customer has product. So we consider this case closed. We always look for ways to improve customer satisfaction and welcome as suggestions from Revdex.com.We an be reached at [redacted]

Review: Mark patrick seminars advertises quit smoking or lose weight with hypnosis. I chose the quit smoking seminar with hypnosis with mark patrick. First, mark patrick was not present, second, there was no hypnosis session. There was a 25 minute meditation session. Meditation and hypnosis are two very different things. I was taught how to meditate over 10 years ago by a meditation specialist and I practice it daily. Even the meditation used in this fraudulant seminar/sales event was mediocre. I am requesting the $50.00 dollars cash I paid, not $49.99 which is on my receipt. The clerk clearly asked me and a friend for $50. Then stated they don't carry change. He also rushed us after asking if we were paying cash, credit, or check. Once me and my friend said cash, he said use my desk and fill only your name and address on the form, then took our papers. He asked where we heard their advertisement then asked us to sign the bottom. He said, " don't worry about the information on the paper as it pertains to people paying by check or credit card." After the seminar/sales event we were rushed out. Upon returning home I then red the paper and it states we could only get our money back immediately after the seminar if we paid by cash. I am disgusted and embarrassed that I fell for this sales scam. They used this falsely claimed seminar to sell vitamins and supplements. I also took the night off of work to attend this last minute scam. I am a nurse and make over $30 per hour. If I do not get a full refund of $50. Then I will pursue my full 8 hour pay with my employers full cooperation.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $50.00, immediately. This company should be banned from using the word hypnosis due to the fact that there is absolutely no hypnosis done. It should be called meditation. This is false information leading innocent people to the sale of meditation and a sales strategy.

Response:

Dear Seminar Attendee,1st, of course we will be more than happy torefund you the $50 that you paid unlike going to a doctor and beingdissatisfied with the service we are so customer service focus that we happilyoffer everyone a refund if dissatisfied. As to the comment about this being a meditationsession and not hypnosis if you simply Google the similarities between hypnosisand meditation you will discover there are many and thus your experience. As to the comment about you paying $50 for aprogram that's only $49.99 and us not having the penny change I'm very sorrybut we have found over the years most people are insulted if we even give themthe penny but we will gladly give you the full $50 refund even though yourreceipt may say you're only entitled to $49.99.The comment about selling products at the seminar,it's not uncommon to go to a doctor and have them suggest that you get aprescription for medicine, or to go to a health club and they suggestsupplements to help you achieve your objectives quicker, or go to a restaurantorder a meal and they suggest an appetizer, it's not the exception it's the"norm". It's very clear that the products are not a requirementand furthermore it's even very strongly suggested that you look elsewhere forthe constituents (food, nutritional, choices). All we are doing is givingyou choices, we believe passionately in this program it's up to you to decide foryourself if it makes sense, if it's for you, if you like to look elsewhere, ortake advantage of the convenience, there's nothing whatsoever wrong aboutserving our customers to the best of our ability. Lastly, it’san extraordinary honor for us to be able to help people, stop smoking we are notperfect, it doesn’t work 100% of the time but we do our best and much moreimportant than the refund is stopping smoking, I’m sure you as a nurse are veryfamiliar with the horrible consequences. Most important to us is, saving people’s lives and to hear that you’renot satisfied probably also means that you are still smoking. I would like to offer you after you receiveyour refund of free future session on me because most important is helpingpeople become a happy, healthy, lifelong, non-smoker!Thank youfor your letterThe kindestof regardsMark P[redacted]

I’ve spent the last half hour reading reviews throughout the internet, to see if this is something worthy of attending when back in town. The one thing that stands out, is how rudely people have been treated, at both the seminars themselves and it’s follow-ups/request for refunds. Refunds that are so discouraging, that only a handful continue its mission...isn’t this how it works? Honest, hard working people, seeking guidance to reverse the side effects of bad choices they’ve made; some of which began when they were children. I would think the majority are there trying not to further their affliction and want answers...answers that many have felt were left at the door they were herded out of. This response takes the cake! With knives, you have managed to offend this poor woman on several levels and for your own negligence. If this program is so successful and people are so worthy of saving, then there should not be one person going home unsatisfied...at best, well informed! The same questions continue to ring across the internet, why are these answers not included in the seminar? Maybe you should take some of your own medicine and modify your meditation to suit anger management...not to be confused with passion! Meh!
