Review: I reserved a DinosaurHaus apartment through [redacted], believing it was a legit business. Charge was supposed to be 50% upfront and 50% on arrival. [redacted] ([redacted], apparently only employee) immediately charged my card 100%. I didn't notice at first, but when I had received no info as to how to get into the apartment by a week before travel, I called her phone number and sent an inquiry email. Neither were returned. Over the next five days, I called eight times and sent three emails, asking how to get in. By this time I noticed the overcharge, too. No call was ever returned: her phone number is a large answering service that knows nothing about her business. No email was ever answered. Two days before travel, I cancelled through [redacted], on [redacted]'s advice, as I was still eligible for a refund. I repeatedly requested the refund, as did [redacted], through phone and email, but as before, no answers were ever returned. Nor was any of the full amount refunded (roughly $800). She has had two weeks now to refund, but has ignored all attempts to contact her. This business is fraudulent.Desired Settlement: Full refund, and/or removal of listings from booking websites so that others don't fall for this scam.
