Contacted McCardel about a softener system for our raw well water. District rep came to our home one day later, and spent quite some time analyzing our water and plumbing, then discussing the various options. No hard-sell at all, and no attempts to upsell equipt. we didn't need. Quite a difference from some other contractors we interviewed.
The equipment was installed in one day, and the installation was professional all the way. Shortly after, a minor problem cropped up and I requested a service call under warranty. Their technician was 60 miles away, but contacted us immediately and set an appointment. The problem was fixed in under 24 hours! The tech then noticed that the factory had installed an incorrect part, which affected the efficiency of the unit. We would not have been aware of this if he hadn't pointed it out. Once again, McCardel came through. The part was ordered, and another tech was dispatched about two weeks later. Just like the first tech, he was courteous and thorough. Completely tested the system until he was satisfied all was in order. That's real service.
One year later, and our softener is working flawlessly. Good equipment is of little value if the dealer doesn't stand behind it. McCardel truly takes care of it's customers.
Just wanted to comment that McCardel Culligan is unbelievable when it comes to customer service! I recently needed to replace my GE reverse osmosis faucet and Paul S[redacted] went above and beyond to assist me in installing the different faucet with less hoses.
He and Culligan were a true Christmas blessing!
