Review: I hired [redacted], ([redacted] manager)on May 19,2014 to renovate my house. [redacted] was given two checks totaling 6,000 dollars: one 4,000 dollars on May 19,2014 and one 2,000 on June 23,2014 per [redacted] request to cover all materials and labor to complete the renovation with the promise all work will be completed by July 31, 2014. Not only did [redacted] not complete any of the work he promised, he also avoided meetings, phone calls and text messages. The house was left in complete shambles with debris and garbage in the house, on the porch, and in the driveway. After 3 months barely any work has been completed and the house is now uninhabitable. Upon requesting an itemized bill for materials and labor for 3 months I have not received it as of Aug.7,2014 currently. After numerous contacts and request for a refund, [redacted] still has not returned any of my money. I requested a refund for 5,000 dollars on August 6,2014 from [redacted]. He has not complied.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to refund 5,000 dollars to me in a bank check for the lack of renovation and the destruction of property to my house in order to hire a contractor to fix the mess he has made.
