Valid within one year from the date of purchase."When I sell a gift to customer I always  show  & read the policy from my salon. They are agreed it before they purchase the gift card. I ask her where she has been over year, she did not tell me reason. Well, I gave her an offer just pay half of her services Manicure and pedicure, but she was upset. However, I really want to solve the problem but it seems does not work out.Regards

Review: I purchase a $31.00 gift certificate from Maxim's Nails and when I went to use the certificate the owner Vinnie T. Thai refused to honor the certificate. She said it was expired. I tried to explain to the owner that gift certificates are protected under California State law and that she could look this information up online. She told me she didn't have to that it was HER policy.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $31.00. At first I just wanted the services I paid for but this owner is so rude I will never go into her business again.
