I have already submitted a very similar version of this letter to the McDonald's "Guest Contact Centre" online, specifying your store # [redacted] and asking for a response from you.

Twice in the past year we have had very horrible food from your McDonald's at [redacted], Dartmouth. It was McChickens and fries both times. The McChickens and fries we had last night prompted me to write.

On the two worst occasions I am talking about, we paid for food that was old and tired, that should have been thrown out long before it was sold.

Both of us worked at McDonald's as kids. We had to follow strict rules about when food had to be thrown into the Manager's Waste, even if it was a whole bin of fries.

When McDonald's "sandwiches" are old and tired, the buns are hard, the burgers (especially McChickens) are tough. When the fries are old and tired, they are floppy and soggy. Everything has an old tired taste, too.

I won't even get into over-cooked food or old oil in that store and other stores. I see you own [redacted].

We got this particularly horrific food (both times) at your Store #[redacted] drive thru, and we started eating it before we got home. The food was not cold; it was just old and tired.

We did not have time to go back and ask for replacement food. We had to throw it in our green bin and eat hot dogs and blueberries instead.

Tonight we cooked a beautiful steak with potatoes, salad, and homemade salad dressing - for about $15.

Even with coupons, McDonald's for two people costs close to $20.

When we decide to splurge on McDonald's, it's because we don't have time to cook and we're very hungry. We're willing to spend the few extra dollars and do the unhealthy thing. We deserve enjoyable food when we splurge the money and squander our health. Who is running quality control in your stores? (Nantucket, Kempt Rd, Portland, Windmill).

From now on, at any McDonald's, we will be opening our bag to closely examine what's in it before we leave the drive thru window or the counter.

[redacted] needs to do a better job of running these restaurants. There is a big reno going on at Store #[redacted]?
