Great vehicles until your 30 day tag is up. Come to find out the vehicle doesn’t have a title

My husband and I have both have negative experiences with Menzel's Auto and Repair. This mostly involves my husband's vehicle we originally took to their shop in February of this year. His vehicle was having a problem with the clutch and apparently the flywheel according to the mechanics. So they repaired the issues and we paid ***. As soon as my husband drove off he immediately noticed a grinding sound but was unable to return to the shop until early June due to his job. He is in the Air Force and works nights. He had a mechanic friend come by our house to look at it and he notice a few things weren't put back together properly. We finally were able to get the vehicle back to Menzel as we have a warranty on both parts that they replaced. We were then told that the flywheel that they put in was defective and they suggested that the only flywheel that would work would cost around ***. The car sat at their shop for weeks as we were going back and forth as they tried to explain why the flywheel twice the price of the original one was the only one that would work. After being understandably frustrated and never being able to make contact with the owner, my husband and a friend of mine who has previously been a mechanic went to Menzel's to get a better understanding of what was going on. The "lead" mechanic showed them how the flywheel didn't line up. Long story short the mechanics lack of knowledge/ laziness almost caused us an additional *** if it weren't for my friend having to tell the mechanic that the flywheel just needed to be tightened down. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the flywheel. Thinking this would be the end of everything, a week goes by while we are waiting for them to put the car back together I get a call from "S" telling us how they were extremely backed up and they were getting ready to start working on getting our car put back together and one of the mechanics backed it into another vehicle. They apologized for the incident and fixed the damage no charge to us, but all of this could've been avoided if the mechanics were properly trained. My husband had to use my vehicle for almost a month while we were waiting for Menzel to fix his vehicle. I'm happy that now after all this time his car seems to be working after an additional *** spent to Menzel for other parts and labor. I feel that they were very unorganized and unprofessional. On several occasions we had to call them to figure out the status of his vehicle. I nor my husband have even thought of sending in a complaint about a business ever, but this has been a horrific experience. My vehicle has also been to Menzel's less than a month a part, but to have body work done, as I was recommended to go to the body shop manager per a personal reference, so I fortunately didn't need to have any interactions with the mechanics. However, I had issues with my vehicle as well. They repainted the entire car and upon inspection there were issues with one of the doors not opening and issues with the wiring upon opening another door. These issues were both resolved the same day. The main gentleman that runs the body shop is a good guy and a pleasure to interact with. I was told not to go to an automatic car wash for a month since I just had my car painted, I did as I was told. I waited about 2 months and discovered paint is now chipping off. I've contacted them and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it no problem, but that was also at the same time my husband's car was at their shop and now I'm to the point where I don't wish to deal with this business anymore with all of the issues we've had. Not to mention I also spent *** on my vehicle at Menzel's. Maybe this was just an isolated incident for us, though we were told that a mechanic as well as a receptionist were let go due to not giving us the correct information about the car. My hope is that no one else has to go through what we went through with this business.
