Review: A little over one month ago, a Metro Fire van showed up in front of our office (parked in a handicapped spot). The service tech got out of the van and entered the building. He told me that he was here to perform annual maintenance on our fire extinguishers. I thought nothing of it due to the fact that I've been with my company for less than a year. There are a lot of arrangements that we have that I'm unaware of. The tech made whatever adjustments he felt necessary and left.

About one week later we received an invoice from them in the mail for the services rendered. When I attempted to post the invoice, I noticed that this company was not in our system. I did a quick internet search to see if they were possibly known by a different name and found that they were rated "1-star" on every single website that I could find. It turns out that I was fooled into this service by a very unethical business practice of theirs. Apparently they have a tech enter random businesses in an attempt to get past someone that is naive to the situation. Many people report that they even refuse to take no for an answer. Once the work is performed, they have to be paid for the service.

This complaint is only intended to get the word out about the unethical business practices of Metro Fire & Safety. I plan to pay the invoice and will do my best to turn their service tech away should he ever return.
