Review: I moved out of one of the Metrowide properties on Aug. 15, 2015. Three months later, I have still not received my deposit. I have called numerous times and been given the run around each time. The first time I called was in early September. I was told that the check was being mailed out later that week. The check was never received. A couple weeks later, I called back and left a message for the regional property manager and never received a call back. The next time I called, the receptionist told me that I would need to contact the property directly because they were the ones who would send the check. I called the property (Oakmont of Algiers). They had no idea what I was talking about and said that I would need to speak to someone in the accounting department at the corporate office because they were the ones who would cut the check and send it out. I called the corporate office and spoke with the receptionist who told me that she looked up my account and saw that I was in fact going to receive a refund, but she did not know where they were in the process of cutting the check. I asked to speak to someone in the accounting department, but she would not allow me to do so. She took a message, but once again, I never received a call back. Two more weeks went by and I called back. Once again I spoke with the receptionist. I explained the issue. She took another message for the regional property manager and assured me that I would receive a call back later that day. I informed the receptionist at that time that if I did not receive a call back and a resolution to the problem, I would be contacting the Revdex.com. The call never came and neither did the check, so here we are. There was no damage to the apartment when I vacated and my rent was paid for the entire month of August. My lease expired August 31st. Everything was done correctly on my part. However, Metrowide will not fulfill their end of the deal refuses to provide any explanation for the issue at hand. I find this to be completely unprofessionalDesired Settlement: I would like someone from Metrowide to contact me to explain the hold up. I would also like to receive my deposit money within one week from today.
