Requested. The service of 2 12 passenger limos for [redacted] Each to go to separate addresses but both went to the same address. Problem date [redacted] Initial contact made [redacted] related to available vehicles. An online reservation for services made [redacted] and the proprietor contacted me via on [redacted] to review limos in their fleet. That evening I contacted [redacted]. Reservation #XXXXX. On [redacted] related needing one of the two limos to be sent to the grooms address. I had emailed and called until I received a response. The modified ticket #XXXXX reflects change. By this time a check had been sent to pay off the rest of the balance in the form of a bank check. On the date of [redacted] both limos arrived at one location. The second limo intended for the groomsmen never arrived. While at the church one of the engines overheated and a replacement limo had to be sent out. When I contacted the proprietor related to my grievance he stated it was not his fault that his it driver made that mistake. When pressed about refunding the amount for services unrendered [redacted] ended the conversation by hanging up the phone. My husband later phoned and spoke with [redacted]. They discussed what occurred and a verbal agreement of [redacted] of the rental service was going to be refunded. This conversation took place [redacted] stated it would take a while related to bills. Since that date the refund has not been noted.Desired SettlementAm seeking $550 Business Response Yes, 1 of the drivers went to the wrong address, but they still had use of the car when he arrived at the church to take them for pictures and to reception. I had offered to refund her half the money for that vehicle but she was being unreasonable wanted full refund. After her husband called was the same way wanted full refund. I greed to refund him $550 against my better judgement to stop them from calling me every 5 minutes. Now that they went posting reviews call me a shark trashing my cars I will only refund them half the money is still more than they deserveConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Honesty is always the best policy!We did not use the car when we arrived at the church. The car that had not been used was the one that over heated and another car had to be sent in its place. Pictures took place at the ceremony site and the proprietor was made aware of this when I was formalizing my request for services. Calls were not made every 5 minutes. Instead 2 calls were made [redacted] at 617p and 625p per phone records. The second call was made by my husband because while discussing the case the proprietor hung up on me. During the conversation he had with my husband he agreed to refund half the amount of services $550 and stated a check would be issued but would need time related to needing to pay his bills. No other calls were made. It has been well over 2 months now and the proprietor made no effort to contact me via email or phone (both of which he has on the service orders) to make good on the refund. The reviews were posted in an effort to get his attention since his attempts were null.What was agreed upon was $550 as the proprietor has stated in his response and that is the amount I am seeking. We did not trash/bad mouth his cars, they were in poor condition and when writing a review I'm sure future customers would be interested to know the condition of the cars. If they were nice limos I would have said so.Stating that the proprietor is a shark is accurate in that he lacks couth. A person who has business savy would know how to talk things through and admit to wrong doing/mistakes. Instead this individual resorted to blaming other staff, making excuses for himself and making empty promises. It goes without saying but I will not be using his services in the future. I will seek out reputable businesses in the area.Final Business Response We will be refunding her $225Consumer Response I am emailing to inform you that I haven't received anything from Metro West Limo in the mail. Even with the change in my address nothing has turned up at my current residence. Not sure what step would be next with this case.
